Title: Adobe not accepting Easy Release?
Post by: yougogirl on November 20, 2024, 09:19
Took some model-released portraits with a few new people -- uploaded the releases to Adobe Stock and they keep getting rejected. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I've been using Easy Release with all the agencies for years - in fact, all of my model-released images with AS have easy releases. Is this something new? I've looked over my releases and there is nothing wrong with them.

Shutterstock has accepted some of these photos already.

Anyone else having issues?

I use Easy Release and have never encountered any issues. Is the date signed by the model and the witness different? I previously had a model release rejected because of that.

Hey here!

We do accept Easy Release releases. If the information is entered correctly, any standard model release should usually be accepted.

Just in case, one issue that happens often is the photographer and model signing on a date and then the witness on a different date. Also, using releases in other languages may cause problems occasionally.

However, the best solution is to contact support with the ID of one of the images with the "problematic" model release so they can examine it and give you more information.

One thing i have noticed that stopped mine was either a policy change or one being enforced.
AS now only accepts 1 release per date, not ranges.  Previously it accepted date ranges and multiple shoots.

I generally have the same 3 or 4 people every day, 5 days a week for several months so used open ended date ranges on the release.  Those are now all being rejected.  (And its not worth getting 4 people to sign a release every day amounting to 100 times in a year for me).
