Hello everyone. There's a statistic I'm curious about. What's the most you've earned from selling a single photo or video on Adobe Stock?

I've been uploading for two years. The most I've made on a single sale is $6 for photos. $7 for videos.

for videos the highest seems to be around 35 dollars, had this a few times this year. for images there is some  license that gives around 21 dollars. also had that a few times this year.

not sure if this is the absolute best ever, not easy to see high individual sales in my stats, usually an aggregate for the month.

adobe does not have a news editorial section. i think most my higher video sales in other places where always editorial.

with images I have had licenses for several 100 dollars on getty, istock and stocksy. and i think once a higher sale on alamy.

adobe is very consistent with the smaller sales though, averaging around 90 cents now. And they have rising sales.

For images, extended licenses, at full price, produce a royalty of $26.40. They're much less common than they used to be (custom licenses that cover more uses is my guess as to the reason). I had 2 in October and a sprinkling earlier in the year.

I had posted about some very high royalties (again for images) back in 2018 -  $94.05 each. Other than "custom", I have no idea what those license details were.

My feeling is what is important is your monthly bottom line from a given agency. I saw another thread where people were talking about  fairly large individual royalty earnings on SS, but what about monthly income?....my monthly income on SS has come down quite a bit, while AS is doing quite well.

I have no idea. Adobe doesn't tell us that kind of thing, and I'd have to dig through years and years, one year at a time, pages and pages of activity, just to see.

All together of my 3 adobe accounts i got $18 one day, Adobe Stock is incredible, and together with Freepik, they are currently the only two platforms that accept AI-created images and videos. This is a massive opportunity. Right now, Im uploading 500 stock media assets daily to Adobe Stock, and my portfolio is growing like crazy!

With the AI revolution, everything is changing. This is a numbers gamejust get into it and upload as much as you can. Thats the key to building a solid passive income stream. Study the trends and create the perfect images.

We have access to so many great tools, like Midjourney and Flux, to create AI content. Personally, I rely on Gigapixel AI for upscaling my images. Its a one-time fee, and I upscale all my images with it. For bulk metadata generation, I use my own tool, which simplifies the entire process.

My advice? Dont wait. Even people whove never taken a photo or used a camera are now uploading thousands of images to these platforms. Dont fall behindtake action now and grow your portfolio.

I don't think you've been doing this long enough to have much perspective. $18 for the day is a slow day - for even one account.

You have the enthusiasm part well covered. Now you need to understand the market, your buyers and try to provide useful content, not just any-old-content

In 2023, I received royalties of $64 from a few videos on AS.

In 2024, I sold a video that garnered a royalty of $56.

I have significantly higher video royalties on SS than on AS. For example, this month, I had two video sales, each with royalties exceeding $90. This level of royalty never occurs on AS.

Within the last year, my highest photo sale has been 26.40, and highest footage sale 22.40.

But sales in that price range are rare. They used to be more common.

Previously, you could get $60-65 for selling a 4K video. But after Adobe made 4K prices the same as HD, the average income from selling a video is $8.

Yes, it happens in photos. I haven't seen such sales in videos for a long time.

I'm just kidding Mike,as well as pointing out the obvious.

Who knows?Maybe I was already born in 1859 and then I was reborn in 1975!  ;)

I'm not old,but not that young either,I'm 49 years old.
