Wonderful!  again, adobe is one of the few agencies that concretely values its contributors!

Excellent chess move once again from Adobe to gain fidelity and respect from contributors. Thanks Adobe and thanks Mat for your work with us :)

Shame there's nothing based on sales, and only uploads. Might take me a while to submit 300 animations!

What about Illustrators?
It would be nice to include us too... ::)

I notice Mat doesn't even bother responding to the illustrators. We're worthless, why make an effort? Why even offer Adobe Illustrator? We can draw sh!t by hand.

Sorry Shelma, I'm not ignoring you. We don't have a standalone version of Illustrator available as a bonus at this time. You would need to submit 300 videos in addition to your vectors to receive a complimentary code for the full Creative Cloud which does have Illustrator in it. Your feedback has been noted. I'm sorry you are disappointed.

Best regards,

Mat

The first batch of codes should  be sent via email in approximately 6 weeks.

Ridiculous. Adobe now expects illustrators to become videographers or animators as well. Imagine walking into a roomful of people and offering everyone a gift except, for no particular reason, one person. And then telling them they need to become a different person if they want a gift. I see that vectors are top sellers across all stock sites, but whatever. Between Shutterstock's ridiculous new submission requirements for illustrators and Adobe's refusal to acknowledge us, I'm really not into contributing anything any more. No biggie....I've only been using your products since their inception.

Thanks Mat, it's great to hear the bonus program has returned. I see they've upped the ante. The "$500 in sales" requirement is gone, but now we need 300 freshly uploaded videos. I better get to work then... ;)

@Shelma:
I agree it's not fair to leave illustrators hanging like that. I have the luxury of being a vector AND video contributor, but hopefully next year they'll include ALL contributors.

But why are you excluding illustrators, aren't vector sales a large percentage of the total.
Giving a bonus to photographers and video contributors and nothing to illustrators both this and last year makes me feel offended.
If you wanted to include us you could have given a discounted price of whatever plan we are using or something similar.
My guess is the bonus is a marketing tool because lots of people are switching to affinity as they don't like the subscription only option but I still don't understand why not give something to illustrators too.

Mat: Why not just offer Creative Cloud to content providers of 300 ++ submissions a year? As you can see from the posts above illustrators get the short end of the stick. As it stands for me, I get the free Photoshop but use an alternate to Premiere, simply because of cost. I'd glady use Pemiere if it was offered. I am not a marketing guru, but it makes total sense to me to pull in the creative community for all aspects of what Adobe has on offer. If you think about it some people won't even use what is on offer, and others will take full advantage. To exclude content providers because there is no stand alone product makes no sense at all. There are other video editing programs and other illustration programs and Adobe is more or less saying we don't matter, and truth be told I think offering the full meal deal would go a long way within the creative community regardless of medium in which we choose to express. It would be a real morale booster. Food for thought.

I thought last years codes had no expiry?  You could use one after the other if you had both?

Edit:- Scrap that.  I found the FAQ. 12 months.
Glad i saw that, im using the LR one and the all apps expires Sept1 so i need to use it before then.

Where is that FAQ, because my understanding was that the one I received expires in July 2021?

There seem to be 2 FAQs with different dates:-

https://helpx.adobe.com/lt/stock/contributor/help/creative-cloud-giveaway-FAQ.html
Says "You have until July 31, 2021 to redeem the code."

Whereas this:-  https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/creative-cloud-bonus-FAQ.html
says "The code will remain valid 12 months from the date it is issued to you. "

The latter is the one linked in the email that sent the code.

Okay, now I am confused. The FAQ for the first program ($500 in sales...) says expiration date: 7/31/2021.
The FAQ for the latest program says expiration date is one year from issuance of code. So for the first (>$500 sales) program, it would seem that 7/31/2021
is the expiration date.

Mat, can we get a clarification on this? Specfically, what is the expiration date for folks that qualified for the original (>$500 sales) program?

Thanks

The first one says published Last published: 2018 August 9

The second link is published August 2019.

So i assume the first one applies to the codes issued in 2018?

Clarification would be helpful.

Hey Mat,

I'm also confused. Can you please help me with this:

I've received the "Creative Cloud Bonus" code last year. I haven't activated the code yet. I tried to activate it now and it says it's expired.

But here is the email I've received from Adobe:

"Dear -------,

Last August the Adobe Stock team launched a Creative Cloud giveaway program to reward our top contributors. Congratulations, you are one of them!
You were awarded a 12 month free Creative Cloud subscription, and received an email from [email protected] with your redemption code. We noticed that you havent redeemed the code yet to start your free access to Lightroom CC, Photoshop CC, and more.
In case you overlooked the previous email, your code is -----. You have until July 2021 to redeem it. ..."

So as stated in this email I've received from you, the code should still be valid.

Can you please help me with this?

Thanks!
