Is there an option to search in my own portfolio in my dashboard. I can do it from my public profile but then I can't see how many downloads there are for the image.
On Fotolia I was able to search in my public profile and see the number of downloads there.

No and that's been heavily requested for months. It seems like Adobe can't implement such an easy tool...

There is no reason Adobe can't do this. They choose not to.
They have not done much to improve contributor features - and some of the features they have added (like recent top sellers) have been window dressing they decided was helpful versus the bread and butter features important to (and requested by) contributors.
Their actions (or lack thereof) speak very clearly, regardless of any PR spin about how important contributors are to them...

Everyone sings their praises but they've really done little to earn it.
Most of the earnings (at least for me) are penny subs. Long gone are the high value credit sales. :'(

For me they run very close, and Adobe gave me free PS for a year, I wouldn't say they have done nothing

Most of my commissions are way more than other places, so I am happy about that. But yes, the contributor dashboard is barely functional.

Free PS for a year and then you have to pay for it for as long as you use it.
Thats called a hook in marketing speak
You've been hooked :D

Not a hook if you're already paying for it for gigs, especially with Premiere and AE, more like savings of 600 GBP for the year ;D

I agree, there is no free lunch at Adobe, never was.
Besides, what has this to do with all the missing features on contributor interface?

exactly - the sub model has easily paid for itself in terms of purchase plus updates- and there's always the chance they'll renew the bonus next year
