Hi,
I've made the changes with my ftp client, switching to Sftp, but the speed is now way slower than before...
Any of you has the same experience ? Very frustrating.
Is it normal ?

A this point, it will take less time rendering my animations with Adobe Media Encoder than uploading them... ???
-
I have fiber 1 GIG upstream and the Adobe uploads were ALWAYS the slowest. I just got used to it.

I haven't seen any differences between SFTP and FTP on my side. Adobe as always been the slowest uploader of all stock sites I contribute (usually half of other FTP). I usually compress my video a little bit more (going from 2gig to ~600mb) or upload at night time.

better security could mean slower speeds, and that make sense if you think about it

I was surprised that they chose SFTP over FTPS. FTPS to FTP is like HTTPS to HTTP, just increased security on the same protocol.

100% agree! But I guess I'm happy that all my port is already online and so not to have to upload my entire portfolio with Sftp speed :P
