My earnings are going down by every month. I am not sure what changes have they made but downloads are decreasing consistantly.
Adobe has been on my top list and seeing them going down hurts.

Mine have remained constant, images only, 25 uploads a week, 2 hrs work a week all in. Circa $300 a month

Adobe Stock has lost its shine. It was going well there for a time, probably gaining some customers from Shutterstock, but it's recent clumsy and chaotic curation of AI content has seen it decline.

I love how people blame Adobe for everything, like Adobe can control the market and customers, it's a slow period overall.

Maybe you are slightly lost here.

Sometimes the market does feel slow, but a big part of whats happening is that companies like Adobe are constantly tweaking their search and indexing algorithms. Sometimes those changes help visibility, other times they really hurt. Its all part of their ongoing experiments.

That said, the demand isnt actually gone. Adobe just shows a max of 100 pages in search results and they are still doing pretty well.

Also, dont forget companies like Adobe take a decent chunk in commission. Thats part of what funds all these experiments and keeps the platform running.

To be fair though, Adobe has generally treated contributors pretty well, which is why theyre still leading the microstock space. Its just that in the last few months, things seem to have dipped which is definitely a bit concerning.

The market is not slow. There are more contributors because of AI.

If you can, you should find another way to get incomes, because probably microstock is near to colapse in the future no so far! Too much people in this business doing AI content (i don't have Ai content). I always have had this clear, microstock is only one income for severals i should have, nowadays very few earning to me. Maybe i have not the better content for the costumers! :)

Same Alexandersr

I don't have any AI in my port, I don't use AI, I don't see it as a creative art form and I don't like the plagiarism that some of these models use.

I do hear that contributors who do have AI in their portfolio make most sales from real content, only anecdotal so can't say this is a fact.

Strange times, my sales are terrible, photo and video.

i sell only videos on adobe ... 3000 files made by me not AI ... personally i dont see any decrease in sales ... i sold more files than last year .. so in my case is going "normal" as always ... clearly it depends by the niches you are in ... also pond5 and shutterstock after the horrible initial months of the years ... they are going well not like the golden age of shutterstock but it's good ...

Where does one make sure they are "not" signed up for that? I haven't really had any significant video sales on shutterstock in a long time, although I do have a good portfolio. They seem to only pay $0.25 per video...

personally this month i have only 2 sales for .25 each ... that is very weird because in the past i had lot and i mean a lot of .25 sales ... this month i have 50% of sales with an average selling price of 10/12 dollars ... few for 2$ and 3$ .... so sincerely i dont know what changed in the practice .... but im noticing that im selling more recent videos than the older one from my portfolio ... at the beginning of the year i was selling for most part only old stuff  ... maybe they have changed something in the algoritm?

One thing is for sure the business is losing it's ability to make a living out of it. Sure there are some doing well but most of us, myself included, are seeing loses with each passing year. I no longer depend on my income and will not purchase another professional camera just continue to use my iphone for pics-vids.  I've accepted that the end is near and just ride it to the sunset...
