My situation: Moderation of images dead stopped. Sales almost stopped.

Not really dead stopped. Batches seem to be originally fast-eye reviewed and then pushed back in queue depending the initial rejections. I notice that in every new batch there are first the rejected ones and then slow curation of the rest.

Well, considering the time it takes to upload everything and get it reviewed, let alone be updated in the search and indexed by Google, I don't expect sales to fall off a cliff immediately, no.

I suppose they are short of staff and a lot of work. It seems that a supervisor checks over and decides to eliminate the clearest to eliminate and then the examiners arrive at the portfolios, more slowly. It's like a quick overview of a section chief, it's the feeling. Surely the one who instructs the reviewers takes a quick walk, and only eliminates. Then the reviewers come in and evaluate the files.

SS wants to make money, put everyone at zero level, it was too much. But in January the extraordinary benefit of them, that is the plan. If they had sold SS to Adobe, we'd all be down to zero by now.
It is an ironic comment, a joke. If Adobe buys SS until March or April at the earliest, everything will not be signed.
SS dreams of January, until January, there is no hope of a change of owner.

Adobe is King, they don't need to buy SS. I am inclined to the data lover, Google is very interested in the location of 300 million files, data from its metadata, data from those who look at it, data from potential customers and data from buyers, data from which they visualize it.
The feeling is that they do not feel their company as theirs, their performance gives the feeling that they do not love SS, as if they give it up and try to get bonus percentages, objectives. It gives me the feeling that they have been negotiating for months. If this is true, that there is a sale and a buyer, I bet the buyer is Google.

Keep in mind that Stan's deal includes making an increase for his bonus. If the company was sold, being sold, that would be irrelevant and Jon could have stayed?

Sale seems to be frozen for now at AS. No sale since 25 June 2020 so far. July is absolutely dry so far. Not sure, if it is general trend now or just I am experiencing it.

I think it's a general trend. My sales are not frozen, but extremely low the whole week, actually I am having the worst month I had on Adobe the whole year so far. My earings are only 30% of what they were last month around this time - but despite this my overall position still keeps rising. So, I think if my position is still rising despite only having few and low $-sales, that must mean that the majority of Adobe contributors are having poor sales as well, otherwise, if it was just me, my position should fall, or at least stay the same?

Very slow for me as well. I have sales, but all just cheap sub sales. My RPD on AS was always around 1 $ and dropped significantly to somewhere around 0.40 $ lately.

Those of you expressing concern for declining sales, are you shooting content regularly that speaks to the current trends? Right now, you should be focusing on Fall/Autumn based content and getting it online asap. All content should have a Covid-19 filter on it...meaning, life as usual but with the new reality we all see every day...people wearing masks, social distancing, etc. There are more buyers than ever and Adobe Stock is selling well, but if you have been a photographer for a long time, it's very likely that the type of content you will see selling is vastly different than what was selling for you even a year ago.

Your guess is as good as mine on that one. Hopefully it's only a short term "trend." Regardless of how long it will last, it's the reality today that customers are looking for. If you want to see growth in sales, I recommend you shoot content that customers are searching for. Then, when things get back to "normal" you can update your plans and create new content that speaks to whatever is trending next.

Seems like you’d get better mileage out of images that are for generic virus issues, that could be used every year.

So, you think Europe, Africa, Australia and Asia (you know, these huge pieces of land across the ocean?) will stop covering Covid in the daily media too once your election is over? Do you think all the restrictions that are put upon us in our daily lives in Europe will be lifted once your US election is over? Do you think all microstock content is sold to the US market only? because I can guarantee you that it is not. You do realize that the US is only making up 4.23% of the world population? And you think the remaining 95,77% of the world populaton will stop experiencing, suffering from, and covering Covid in the medie once your election is over?! Seriosuly? Like, SERIOUSLY?!

It is not a subject for jokes.
The problem of the USA is so serious that it should never be treated as a joke. We are facing the greatest drama in the history of humanity.
I am not referring to Trump (he is the president who came out by vote), I am not referring to the pandemic (a world drama and that the USA had a comedian for president in presidential elections), which is a huge problem. If there is no nuclear war with China in order not to lose against the Sleeper, and the planet survives, the developed countries will have to strive for decades to help the USA humanely.
North America ends at the Canadian border. The debates about contraceptive pills, abortion, racism, immigration, health for millionaires, flag, patriotism, are going to have to leave him in another life. Now that the USA has disappeared as a country, I hope that among all developed countries we will be able to build a country according to the current era. XXI century.

I am not sure where you get the idea from that I was worried or stressed about the virus? I am not living in a country with 70.000+ new infections each day and almost 150.000 deaths. Our government takes the issue seriously and has been able to keep cases and deaths to a minimum. You seem to suffer from some distortion of perception.
All I am is shocked about how a person can seriously think she and the remaining 4.23% of the world population living in the US are the center of the world and everything revolves around them so much that the news media in the whole wide world will stop reporting about the virus once you have your precious new (or old) president. So, please take a reality pill. You are not as important as you seem to think.

Since 24 July 2020, the sale seems to be picking up. I got almost every day. Seems the old world is getting back to work again.

Since everyone is talking about America and world affairs. Isn't Adobe located in San Jose ,CA. I think they have had a lot of Un-Peaceful riots and protesters in the last six weeks or so. I wonder how that has effected Adobe. Maybe it is time for Adobe to move to Texas. We all carry guns in Texas and we keep the peace. Funny how that works. I think San Jose has around 13 percent personal income tax. Texas has no income tax. Adobe you need to move to Texas....low taxes, low poverty and low crime.

Adobe, I forgot to tell this story....Happened last week in Austin. They did have a small BLM riot and the rioters had guns also. As I understand it one of the rioters had their AK-47 with them and put five rounds into a car in the Austin traffic. The car owner was not shot but did come out of his car and put one shot/round into the head of the AK-47 rioter. Sounds like the car owner will be no billed. As he was just a Texan protecting his family..The Texas Way...
