In one of the threads about closed/suspended accounts, some one referred to the submission guidelines.  I checked them out and noticed that the following subjects cannot be submitted (amongst others):  nudity, self-harm, violence, gore ...

I quote the content submission guidelines:
- Content cannot contain any nudity.
- Do not submit content that depicts the infliction of pain or damage to ones own body (I do have suicide images)
- Do not submit content that is violent
- We do not permit submissions of content with excessive gore, which includes depictions of blood (!!)
Your content may be removed, or your account may be deactivated, for not complying with these Account and Content Submission Guidelines

There were times years ago when stock agencies were REQUESTING subjects like domestic abuse, drugs, street violence, crime etc etc so as a result, I have quite a few images that would no longer be allowed under the current rules.
I'm also a (retired) newborn/maternity photographer and I do have a few "covered nudes" (implied nudity), all model released of course.

Are we now supposed to go over our entire library at Adobe Stock to find and delete all images of abuse, suicide, nudity, violence/crime etc. just to avoid the risk of account suspension?
And if we would all do this, wouldn't you think the Adobe's collection would become totally "impoverished" and give a one-sided view of society (just like Canva is currently doing by removing everything negative)?

some other concerns are erotic sculptures on Hindu temples, naked cherubs on church altars (chi1d p0rn?) and other religious paintings & sculptures showing fig-leaved or other scantily clad figures

canva's recent 'violations' are ridiculous- i've had pix of a Civil War re-enactment deleted - latest was an isolated image of a cannon!

and their appeals process is a joke, all they do is wait a day, then post the same response, saying " we agree with the deletion", failing to respond to anything said in the appeal

and of course, there's their refusal to admit there's any widespread rejection of entire batches from long time contributors - SECONDS after they're uploaded

Seeing the lack of reaction, I think I can conclude nobody is worried about past submissions going against current Adobe rules ?
Or would it mean nobody ever submitted images of crime/violence/abuse/nudity ... ??

not worried  :)

I think that all content posted in the past if in any way against current terms, will simply be removed without any further consequences.

Content sent when the terms were already updated could lead to consequences.

Let's hope you're right!

I'm telling you because it's already happened to me.

if you notice a decrease in the amount of content in your port,go to the rejected content pages and you will find the content that has been removed, the reason for the rejection will probably be this:

"Audit Removal:Incompatible with the Terms"

Interesting!  I checked my own rejected files and could not find any "incompatible with terms" rejections - maybe they still have to start re-reviewing my port ...  Anyway, it's reassuring they just delete them!

Interesting read.

You would think that now with ai it would be easier to submit negative situation images, suicide, self harm, drug abuse, alcoholism. Also violence in the family or any kind of abuse situation. Children being warned about talking to strangers or getting into cars with people they don't know. Rape, reporting rape to police, tests in the hospital.

These are real world problems that need illustrative imagery.

And declining cultural works of art to fit current US nudity or shall we say chastitiy sensitivity?

There is loads of amazing historic artwork depicting human bodies in all details and activities.

Is there a page with visual examples?

No, the submission guidelines don't show any examples of what is or what is not allowed:
