Just talked to someone at Adobe, they are reading this thread and seems like they are listening to the concerns posted here ...that's a breath of fresh air. hopefully Adobe Stock (contributor) Portal will evolve to a lean & mean insight machine for all of us contributors.

If Adobe are reading this they should now that their Uploaded Files submission page is very buggy especially if you multi select files.

The 'Recognizable people or property?' buttons are not working properly. They work great the first time and then they break. Even when 'No' is already selected you have to click on 'Yes' and then 'No' again.

The 'Auto Keywords' always messes up when you multi select. It adds auto keywords whether you want them or not. It does not remember any keywords the file may already have.
This sounds very entertaining. Why only submitting with 1-2 clicks when you can also stick around on the site and have some fun. Can't wait to start uploading to Adobe.

What the point in uploading images to Adobe when they're only paying 33%!

This is an old, old topic, but to paraphrase a tech executive from years ago, 60% of eff-all (i.e. zero) is still eff-all. The percentage isn't all that matters and you'll go down a bunch of dead ends and upload to time-wasting Shutterstock-wannabes if all you look at is the shiny object - a high percentage - being dangled in front of you.

At the moment, Adobe Stock is closing (and in some months at the end of last year was beating) Shutterstock for the #1 earner slot

If  MatHayward is reading this, the FT rank was a great reference, unique for the industry.

I am disappointed to see it gone.

It was a good indicator, allowing better understanding of the contributor's position relative to the agency's performance.
I knew I don't have to worry when my sales were lower, but my rank stayed the same or improved. Or I knew that I was doing better than the rest, that week, when my weekly rank improved.
         `
Mat, bring it back, please!

Yes, of course I'm reading this. All (well.....most :)  )of your comments are very helpful and much appreciated. I am sharing this feedback every opportunity I get. As a contributor myself I know there is a long way to go before the portal is perfect but I can assure you we will continue to work to make it better for contributors. It did take me a while to switch from the Fotolia interface to Adobe so I fully understand the pain points you are illustrating here. I promise I will continue to keep you in the loop as the portal evolves. Please keep your feedback coming, it is being read and does have an influence in the engineering priorities with portal updates and upgrades.

Because they are second best, behind Shutterstock, in terms of revenue.
If you don't like Adobe Stock, I wonder what's your point in being active on a microstock forum.  ???

'Uploaded Files' page:

Mainly adding data in the top right side of the screen
The 'Save' button is as far away as possible in the bottom left corner.

It's just bad ergonomic design, but just great if you want Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

It seems to take more time now to receive payment requested. And we can't request another payment until the other one is process ..! ( I had my first video sale )  ;)

What's annoying at the moment is they've shut FT down before they've transferred any of the ranking details over to AS.

I've been using the statistics (insights) page at AS for the last few weeks. It isn't bad, has plenty of positives but it is slow and missing a number of stats that are on FT, views and US/Non-US split. Hopefully they'll sort that out soon. It's been mentioned that the issues over the insights page not remembering what you input and changing back to a FT date range is being looked at.

Funnily, my main issue with the AS site is that it displays earnings in 's. Even though that is my currency, my head is used to seeing earnings in $'s . It would be handy if you could change the displayed currency while retaining 's for payment.

True, I'd prefer seeing earnings in $ also.

I miss seeing the stream of recent sales with $$ as soon as I lend on contributor page. I just want to know what was sold and for how much and when I can request the $$ (would be nice to have this automated too.) It's possible to see on Adobe, but I need to click 5 times and there is no way to bookmark it as the date get saved into url.

I haven't been submitting files over Adobe yet, so can't really comment on this.

I hate the smiley happy people I have to look at on the 'Contributors of the Week' page just to get to 'My Statistics'.

Yes, and if you decide to refresh the page with the sales of the current date "from 7 February 2019 to 7 February 2019" it goes back to "from 7 February 2019 to 7 November 2018". I hope they fix everything soon!

No you don't have to look at CotW, I don't, just bookmark the Insights page. Martha and I have posted this about a dozen times and you seem intent on ignoring the help, but complaining about clicks.

So I'll post it again for anyone else who wants to go directly to their Insight, sales and earnings page. Plus one click on the Display Statistics blue bubble changes it from earnings to Top Sellers.  ;D Yes that makes me happy and smiling.  ;)

The 'Auto Keywords' always messes up when you multi select. It adds auto keywords whether you want them or not. It does not remember any keywords the file may already have.

Got caught by this too. With a single image the auto keywords came up and I just deleted them and pasted in my correct set. When I multi selected several images I didn't see any auto words appear and just added mine and submitted not knowing the auto words were there. Which is why I now have Greek island images pending with handy keywords such as Turkey and Jordan! I'm hoping data can be amended if accepted? What I really want is a way to just permanently disable that auto keyword feature. Anyone found if that's possible? Experienced keyworders probably don't need or want it and new people (who might find it useful) are poorly served by having random (wrong) countries ascribed to their images.

That said, I actually liked the upload page and found the process simple and intuitive (auto words apart).

My last post was an attempt at humour. . . sorry if it failed.

Yes, I understand that you can bookmark any page.

I'm just fed up with the continual industry decline. Besides the technical problems, the Adobe site has some really basic design flaws. This is surprising coming from a company like Adobe that is so heavily into design and image production.

From the moment Fotolia was acquired by Adobe they've shown that they're always listening to the contributors and taking the feedback seriously.
I was surprised to see how they went out to contact me to make sure it will be a flawless transition from Fotolia to AdobeStock for the StockSubmitter/Microstock+ users.

So I believe that any constructive feedback in this thread will be definitely used by Adobe to improve the Contributor portal :)

hmm mat what we like are daily stats "last sales" and "how match I made today" in the dashboard

It's nice, but it would be even nicer, it there was like two rows with last five images sold on top of the dashboard  ( not by dowwnloads, like now), and statistics graphat the bottom if it really must be there.

And then you can also sort them by dl-s, earnings, etc.. but default would be last 10, or 15...

..and then insight would be for more specific statistics, by date, etc...

And then somebody will complain that they liked one column, graphic on top and 10 past sales. What I'd like most and I think will help the most of us is search in our own photos for edit, by keywords not only date or downloads. Important useful not look of a page.
