My last post was an attempt at humour. . . sorry if it failed.

Yes, I understand that you can bookmark any page.

I'm just fed up with the continual industry decline. Besides the technical problems, the Adobe site has some really basic design flaws. This is surprising coming from a company like Adobe that is so heavily into design and image production.

Sorry if I missed it I did see the big smileys. And they say sarcasm doesn't translate well in forums. Proof. Well one more post of the links for everyone else.

For me a giant - for missing, but I'll agree I really hate happy people, all that smiling and joy. Lets stamp that out together.  ;D

I think it's awesome that Adobe are contributing to this thread and making what appears to be quick changes to their website.

But. . . (here's me being negative again). . the data included in the new header is not useful.

Please read this thread for better ideas.

Hey everyone...check out the top of the Dashboard page in the portal. There was an update today I think you will like.

-Mat

That was fast!
We got the rank (aka position) back!

Great job, Mat!

As a contributor myself I know there is a long way to go before the portal is perfect but I can assure you we will continue to work to make it better for contributors.
So nice to see all improvements you're making. Thanks for that! Now what I would really love to see is number of views for each image (as it was on Fotolia). That would be awesome. Keep up the great work!

Very nice addition, timeframe refreshes quickly too!

Do you know...

1. Whether it's possible for them to add the number of downloads alongside $'s for Top Sellers? It would be useful to know whether the $ was from one download or a dozen etc.
2. Swap "Contributor of the Week" for "My Statistics" as being the landing page when you click on "Insights". Don' really need to be looking at COTW that often compared to MS.
3. Number of views... is this something that is being considered?
4. Rather than exporting one set of statistics at a time, Downloads, $ etc is it possible to be able to create a report file that would combine $, DLs,Views as one csv file?
5. You mentioned in the as they were looking to automatically refresh when swapping from Earnings to Activity and Tope Sellers etc as well as it remembering what dates you had entered etc... is there a timeframe for that happening yet?

I've been using AS for submitting work etc for some time now and never had any issues with it... prefer it. I don't use the KW tools though as I managed everything inside C1Pro. Things like csv for footage etc works without issue as well so all in all, most things work well and just a little fine tuning required.

Cheers for your effort again Mat

Edit. Just spotted a link to "My Statistics" above the graph on the dashboard.... very useful. Don't know if this is new or whether I just didn't spot it before!

It's nice, but it would be even nicer, it there was like two rows with last five images sold on top of the dashboard  ( not by dowwnloads, like now), and statistics graphat the bottom if it really must be there.

And then somebody will complain that they liked one column, graphic on top and 10 past sales. What I'd like most and I think will help the most of us is search in our own photos for edit, by keywords not only date or downloads. Important useful not look of a page.

Now I see the rank on the new page. (I don't care, but others do) I don't see acceptance ratio, but it might be there someplace and I missed that?

Another vote for search in the area we use to edit photo information by Keywords. Date or Downloads isn't as useful for checking and updating relevant data in images. I can't go through thousands of images, by Date just to find something I need to improve.

That search option would be useful for many of us.

I've been lurking about for some time, but this discussion may end up being productive, so here goes. First I must say that Adobe is doing very well as far as I am concerned, also responding to emails and keeping healthy communication open. Special thanks to Mat for being omnipresent :) There is still room for improvement though, particularly regarding the UI interface (the only reason I joined this conversation).
What I would like to see in the order of importance to me, not sure how technically difficult it is:

1) add a search option to the contributor dashboard. I'd like to be able to search in my own portfolio by keywords, name, ID number, date of upload, etc.

2) the activity data page, I would like to be able to change the number of pics displayed on a single page, up to 100, like Fotolia used to have. Also, the CSV export is almost useless currently. An ability to add/adjust the range of dates (e.g. to know what was sold during a particular month or year or 2 weeks or any other specific range of dates) to the button would solve the problem. Myself, I can certainly extract this information by scraping, but then the bot has to be adjusted every time the page layout is changed. Not a big deal but still takes time...

3) Not sure what the contributor of the week tab is for. For copycats? I hated to be in the best sales of the day/week/month on Fotolia and I will certainly hate to be "the contributor of the week/month/year" in the future. Hope this never happens.

Yes, keep on going - I miss the download counter, as it was shown for each image at fotolia by moving the mousepointer over it.

Hi All,

As some of you noticed there is now a direct link on the dashboard page to "view my statistics" that will bypass the contributor of the week landing page you find by clicking the Insights tab. As I understand it, the Insights page was designed to be more than just statistics and it's likely more will be added to that page as time goes on.

I don't know exactly when the site will remember the stat you last checked and leave that as your default however as mentioned previously, this will happen.

Another recent change that has been mentioned in MSG is the contributor position now found near the top of the dashboard page. This was a top request from many of you and was communicated as important information available only at Fotolia. You can use the drop down menu to see where you land in comparison to the entire contributor community for lifetime and weekly earnings.

I recognize the many people asking for views as they were on Fotolia. Just a reminder...those numbers you saw were only for views that happened at the Fotolia site. The data was incomplete and in my opinion not helpful as the majority of activity for some time now has been at Adobe Stock. This is a top-of-mind feature request and is not forgotten. I do not know if/when it will be added to Adobe Stock.

The other top feature request has been the ability to search within your portfolio on the dashboard page. I don't have an update on that either unfortunately. Just wanted to let you know I'm very aware of the need for this feature and am continuing to bring it up on a very regular basis.

I have noted all other feature requests in this thread and many/most are very important. I will most definitely keep you updated as news comes in.

Thanks for the update Mat, much appreciated!

Adobe site is also unusable from mobile phones.

With the phone in portrait mode it doesn't show any of the links but if you turn the phone into landscape, all the links become available. This works fine for now but the CSS style sheet needs updating with regards to the responsive design layout for mobile devices. While Landscape works, the page width doesn't adjust to the size of the device and you have to scroll left to right etc. Or... they could put out a contributor app  ;D

Thanks Mat for keeping track of everything. I've got a few more fancy requests for the 'My Portfolio' page, which isn't the priority but would be nice to have.

- could we have the name of the 2 featured collection displayed on / or under the boxes?

- could the banner at the top and the 2 featured collection boxes be much smaller in size so they actually all fit on the landing page? Currently, the banner is half the size of the screen and we can only see the top of the boxes for featured collections, which looks terrible.

- 2 featured collections is quite limited, could we have more of these?

I would have to disagree with most on here. I get twice as many sales on Adobe Stock than I ever did at Fotolia.

Hey Mat, thank you for following this topic, and for taking part in changing the Adobe site closer to what Fotolia once was in terms of statistics. It was useful, and unfortunately Adobe is still far from that point at the moment. I was really disappointed that you removed some of the features in Fotolia this week, and you didn't implemented them in Adobe yet. Current/weekly position was one of them, glad you got it back. Views were removed much earlier, but never got back to Adobe, and you said it will be returned later in the process. Upload process is much simpler in Adobe and I like it, also the overall dashboard graphic design and user experience is very modern, intuitive and responsive, probably the best at the moment in microstock world. The point is upgrade statistics further and you'll probably be top of the line. Thanks!

Hey, the stats page defaults to "top sellers".  That's not going to change a lot.  It should default to "activity" so you can see the activity (sales).  Or when I change it, it should hold the choice.  Thx.

The site will soon set the default to whichever stat you last checked when visiting the portal. I don't have a date but don't expect it to be too far into the distant future.

That would mean it would default to "top sellers" again, because it's certainly the last page I look at :)

So Adobe do listens contributors at leas a little. Maybe not regarding euros and Payoneer or switching from euros to dollars (my post regarding that on this forum god ignored), but it's still something.

I'll try not to repeat what others have said. So I'll just say this for now:

- rows showing activity (downloaded images) are unnecessarily high, so there is too much scrolling
- why would 12-week trend be the only default option on the dashboard home page - some maybe do like to see weeks, but some others and me don't care about weeks and want to see months. So maybe give the option for everybody to choose between 3 months, 12 weeks, and maybe even 90 days (day by day).

"Key features on Fotolia are now limited. You have already synced your account and are all set."
I get this but when I try to log in at adobe it takes me to a sync screen and tells me the account is already in use. Any ideas?

This is an indication you are trying to sign in with the wrong Adobe ID. Sign out of the page and sign back in with the email address you used to sync with originally.

Thanks for that - your helpful support team sorted it for me....I had to use the dreaded Explorer though need to clear the chrome cache I think. Top marks for their quick response....

one of the most important thing to me personally, is being able to select more then one keyword while sorting them by importance. Dragging single keyword (or pushing to the top) button for each keywords is annoying, time consuming, unnecessary.

Shift-click more keywords and drag them or using push to top button in the same time would be great

also that one unnecessary "show remaining keywords" click is so annoying when keyword-ing more images... wow.

people who made that haven't been contributor to any stock site ever.

I think Adobe should fix bugs before introducing new features.

The multiple file selection is a mess. We need to be able to turn off auto keywords.
