Congratulations!
Splendid image, you deserve it  8)
As far as my experience, Alamy is the only agency where I have 3 digits sales  ;).

Thank you as usual for kind words Luisa!  Same here, I had once 3 digit license on Shutterstock, but Alamy is the only place where this happens with some level of regularity.  Even had 4-digit sale once.  They also treat you fair, none of this what's been going on with Adobe lately.

Congrats on the good sale as well as the photo, I do love the color of glacial lakes.

I certainly have plenty of mountain photos taken from places that are not that easily accessible. I have even sold a few on Alamy for decent amounts which I appreciate greatly.

I have some issues with how Alamy does things and some of the changes they have made in the last few years, but many months they are my top earner - not this one though unless some big sales come through. Returns do seem to be going down there, but not as fast as they have at some of the other sites.

Thanks Tom.  I lived in your neck of the woods and did some hiking, but probably nowhere as much as you.   My 4 digit Alamy sale is actually trailhead photo of Iron Mtn in Poway, San Diego county.    Wish I explored Sierra much more.  Biggest regret is I didn't do Whitney.  Human congestion is much harder to deal with compared to Canada though.
