hi

I have two of these type of downloads, $0.17 each. looks like FT doesn't think subscription is too cheap already, they have add subscription M, i wonder what's the price for subscription XS? $0.01? LOL

it's just ridiculous.

0.17$ looks like a XS credit sale with 30% taxes

the lowest sub should be 0.25$

No, in the German microstock forum there are two people as well who showed screenshots of subcription downloads with M sitze for about half of their usual money:

Subs should be 25 cents.

If you haven't submitted your tax information then they withhold a percentage.  If that is the case then you should submit your tax info as soon as possible because they won't give what they are withholding back even after you submit your tax info.

It is most likely not a tax issue, because the size issued is "M" instead of "XL" or "XXL" as usual, so that allows the assumption that there is a change in the subscription model as a whole.

Just found this at the US site of Fotolia stating:

"Download twice your quota of M images!
"M" images available at the cost of only 0.5 download (from $0.39)."

source: http://us.fotolia.com/Info/Subscriptions

I think this can count as confirmation.

Rob, I can't find the quoted information on the FT website you linked to - am I blind (possible) or is it gone (possible too).
I hope it is not true - but ....

Thank you, Nailia - just contributors have not been informed yet that it affects their commission too, right.... not good, not good. I feel another D-Day coming.

I just got one of those, too. 0,17 credits, because I'm emerald. This has definitely *nothing* to do with American witholding taxes - I submitted the legal form years ago and never had anything deducted til now.

I'm in the US and I haven't seen that yet.  Does this affect all contributors or just those that are outside the US?

Next thing they will do is say that this is confusing buyers and will make all subs $0.17
Exactly what they did with vector subs when they were like 3 regular subs.

Hopefully not.

Actually right now it looks quite the contrary: The latest "M" sub download I got gave me 0,33 again instead of 0,17 just some hours before. Others reported the same.

Then I stand corrected. Looks like it was only a glitch.

Over  all  agencies  DL's  were  up  but  made  less  because  most  were  sub.  Hadn't  got  all  the  figures  yet.
