Title: Fotolia's "Set your price ..." feature
Post by: mwp1969 on December 10, 2007, 17:40
Does anyone know when you are able to select higher pricing on Fotolia? I am new there (19 approved images) and there doesn't seem to be an option for my photos to be at any other level than the .30 range selection.

You have to become emerald (10000 downloads) to get a higher price for normal downloads. Otherwise, you can only set the price for Extended License.

I wonder if those misers at FT will survive as other sites raise the prices ...
alexa does not show that FT is doing badly. Yet ...

I agree Fotolia should   raise it's prices too as IS did.  I think it has got a stable place in the market and good customer  profile so  a little  risen prices won't hurt anyone.and I personally  consider them among the sites that will help prices go up as needed.

Araminta, not true. If you are bronze (100 sales) you can set 2$ for small, and if you are silver you can set 3$ for small (and higher for other licences....)

Chode,

Only if you are an exclusive bronze or a non-exclusive emerald you can set prices for images.  Emerald is a member with 10,000-50,000 dlds.  A very long way to go for me.  :)
