sometimes we need deactivate our folio from some sites for some reasons, shutterstock does have a system for it called "opt out", is there a way to opt out for selling images or something like on fotolia without deleting all images or without deactivating complete contributor account?

If I understand your question on Fotolia, you can delete selected images one at a time without impacting your entire portfolio.

Sounds like he's going back and forth between hating iStock and going exclusive again.  One day it's they are the worst, the next it's maybe I should go back, then he hates them again.  I think he wants to opt out of sales but still keep his files uploaded so he can change his mind again next month.
If you've uploaded to Dreamstime you're stuck for 6 months too.

I don't think you can temporarily deactivate single images on Fotolia without deleting them from their servers. But you can delete it one image at a time. You only have to re-upload it again if you change your mind, so you'll lose whatever search placement that image had.

You understand what I wrote is wrong on other topics, I highly recommend reading it again.

@Madman, we don't have the ability to temporarily  you out of selling images while keeping your account active and images intact. If I have misinterpreted your question please let me know.

thanks,

Mat

Why do you need to temporarily hide your portfolio?
