Title: Fotolia: Changing a Title/Description after a file has been accepted
Post by: wds on August 19, 2015, 21:32
Is it possible to change a file description after it has been accepted?
It seems you can only change category, keywords and pricing. The title/description field seems to be locked out. I made a minor typo and want to change it.

There is no way to change it. You can't change the keywords either, but you can change its order.

Thanks. Seems strange.

Yep, unfortunately it is not possible to change something after an image has been approved.
It is strange for me also  :-\ Yesterday I want to change something quite important (some keywords) from on series of my images but I could not do it.

You could try writing to support.

You can also re-upload the image, fixing the error on the FT "indexing" page and also adding a note about what you've done, and resubmit it. If they accept the corrected 2nd version, you can delete the inaccurate 1st version.

They'll do it once, but tell you they won't do it again.  You'd think they'd want to have modified information if the original was incorrect, but I guess not.
