Does anyone know if it matters what order your keywords are in?

I'm sure your sales would improve somewhat if you took the time to order your keywords as they ask you too, but my sales aren't high enough to make it worth my time.  I don't bother too, but I would be curious to know if others think it makes a difference.

since all my keywords are submitted by iptc info, they are in alphabetical order when they come into fotolia.  I can't be botthered to switch them around.  Maybe i am loosing sales, but itwould take ages to sort the words so i don'tthink it is worth it.

Yes, it does matter (at least according to the website).  One of the upload pages states "Classify keywords in order of importance, the most relevant words go first".

Here is a web page on Fotolia keywording: http://blog.fotolia.com/us/guideline/editing/key_words.html

I thing when ordering its hits, it looks at the first 7 words.  Ie so if you sort be relevance, having the word in the top 7 will help you out.
