Title: Fotolia learning curve
Post by: martyp on November 03, 2013, 13:05
I'm new to Fotolia and am having a heck of a time streamlining the upload process. Is there any way to put in keywords to more than one file at a time? I submitted, then noticed that I had clicked "exclusive" in error but I cannot find a way to make the correction. Moving around from place to place in the contributor site also seems laborious. Any ideas would be appreciated.

From My files > Indexing you can put keywords to more than one file.

However, if you submit your photos to more than one site - or even if you don't but you plan to - you should attach keywords to files before uploading (IPTC) to save time.

If I remember well once your image has been approved you have the possibility to "Edit Data", so you can remove the exclusivity for the image.

If you use Adobe Bridge, you can keyword the individual files and then upload. You can even enter the description in Bridge. Once you upload it to Fotolia, the keywords are pre-loaded, all you have to do is click 'add.'

Last but not least: you can even write keywords in multiple files directly in Fotolia. Go to "Manage your files" and then to "Indexing" far right on the menu bar. But it is not comfortable, it's better you attach keywords and title before upload - as stockphotoeurope already wrote.
