Fotolia version 2 seems a bit more stable this morning still problems uploading, keywording and requesting credit conversion.

The $1 extended licence is annoying  (when entering details for newly uploaded files it forgets your previous figure and defaults to $1) but the description box has been replaced by a note to the reviewer.

Where is the FTP? old details don't work and no sign of new details.

The flash upload OK for small batches but crashed the second time I tried uploading, I haven't managed to successfully keyword + categorize an image yet

New minimum size for uploading files is now 4 mp it was 2mp

The search engine may be messed up and the watermark is fotolia written in small text nine times in a 3 x 3 arrangement, I would prefer something a bit harder to clone out.

Price structure i saw another post about this but I think most missed the slight of hand performed 1 credit buys a small image before it earned a medium image.

so the first column the old system, the second column new sizes

                 old earnings  new earnings
600 x 800 -                    33c
2 mp         33c                66c
4mp          66c                99c
8mp          99c               1.32c
15mp       1.32c             1.65c

and they are just the newbie 33% earnings.

Just sold a small (600x800) image for 37c

Hopefully version 2 will be stable long enough today so I can sell some photos today

Those that opted out of e-mails notifying of sales will have to opt out again in the profiles screen.

They announced that instead of boosting the cost of a credit to $1.36, it would remain $1 and to make up the difference added the new small size.  I've sold one small size since the update, and the royalty was 35 cents (at bronze).

FT2 seems pretty quick and a few new features.

but....I can't find a place to upload my new pictures!

Is this just me or is anyone else having the same problem?

Seems like they disabled the upload function.  I uploaded an image this morning just to see what is different.  Now the upload links are gone. They must have a problem there.

Thanks, so it isn't me not finding the link  :)

Also, I've only had one view today but sold two seperate images, strange!

I presume they decided to block uploads until everything was fully sorted out as its rather frustrating trying and failing to keyword those uploaded.

Maybe the reviewers are helping out debugging the site looking for glaring errors

They should run a competition/contest set up a photographers only forum post where we can post any gliches and can win credits or something more substantial

$1 EL???  What's that?

I sold one image today.

Do you see any speed improvement in the new version?

Adelaide

The extended license now defaults to $1, so you have to change it now on every photo.

Can we still ask them to change all images?

Regards,
Adelaide

PS: I thought existing images had been affected, but no.  So this seems a problem in new images only.
