Does this mean soon we will only be able to check stats, request payouuts, and upload thru Adobe?  I haven't bothered getting set up on the Adobe site because we were told we could keep using Fotolia.  Mat?

It makes sense they would phase out Fotolia to eventually have everything branded as Adobe.

If you're not on the Adobe site you should definitely get set up on it.  Regardless of what happens to Fotolia it is about a million times faster to submit through Adobe.

Doesn't make any sense running two identical stock sites in the long term...fairly obvious what will happen I think.

Maybe but it would be poor business to kill Fotolia the website. They will just make everything managed through Adobestock and still sell from the second site. Ever wonder why SS would buy BS and keep it open? More exposure to more buyers, it's nothing but a mirror for most of the files. Fotolia will be a true mirror of Adobestock.

Buick, Oldsmobile, Cadillac, Chevy, GMC mostly the same cars trucks, with different tags, styles or body work. Same parts, motor and transmission. Fotolia will become an outlet store for Adobestock if they want to bring in the extra money.

Otherwise, use the Fotolia site name and direct to adobestock and kill off Fotolia as a brand name. Either way. Yes, this is the future.

Never did understand why Bigstock was still a database or agency. Just send everybody to SS and kill it.

Signed in. Never "noticed" anything different.

Once the contributor portal was launched we stopped accepting contributor accounts at Fotolia. Those of you that were already Fotolia contributors can still log in and use the Fotolia UI as before.

Cheers!

This is good because the statistic part of Adobe Stock does not exist…

To me this is still a little unclear.
Is it recommended that current FT contribs also join Adobe??
For the foreseeable long-term future, will submissions, accounts, payouts, etc, still work as before through us.fotolia.com??
I don't want to open yet another account if I don't have to.

Ok so signing up for Adobe stock
.....but of course forgot my Fotolia password since it is saved.  Still waiting forever for email  to reset my Fotolia password!   How long do I have to wait?   Yes I have been checking spam folder as well but wish it would hurry up-- have lots of work to do on Fotolia today.

@hildegarde, I'm not seeing any password reset requests pending right now. Send me an email with your account name or number and I'll help get you sorted out: [email protected]

@hughstoneian,

You don't need to activate your account at the Adobe Stock Contributor Portal if you already have an active Fotolia account. There is no distinct advantage or disadvantage for existing Fotolia contributors to upload via Adobe Stock. It's a different interface that some are finding more convenient to use. Images uploaded through the portal will still be featured in your Fotolia portfolio and images uploaded to Fotolia will be featured in your Adobe Stock portfolio. All sales from both sites are visible in both sites.

The one advantage is that you can update keywords. I also like that it shows views on the pics on Adobe. I still prefer to use Fotolia... Just don't like change I think.

On the Adobe site, you can also change your description fields, which you can't do in FT.

I like it better, if only for that reason.

This is good because the statistic part of Adobe Stock does not exist…

Click anywhere and you get https://contributor.stock.adobe.com/sales or you mean sell details page. The license on old just shows size, not type.

New Adobe shows the date, money and type of license. Not size.

Mat can you help us?

I like the new editor much better also. I have been reordering keywords to put the best five on top. Some I change description to make better match to concept and keyword. New shows total sales and views on every image.

Detail page shows total sales. I don't see that anywhere on the new site.

There is no file size breakdown at Adobe Stock. All subscriptions provide the full resolution file.

Your total sales amount is listed at the top of the home page. Is that what you are talking about? "Total Sales" and "Total Earnings."

Thanks Mat, sorry I missed that. I must have been thinking someplace else total sales earnings per image.

8) Oh yeah, we can make titles and keyword spamming there too!!   ;D

Yes, but it is very poor… No possibility to see a date range. If I want to see the total of my week or month sales I have to take the calculator and to sum each sale one by one… Very poor, incomplete and useless interface for my needs.
