Medium, Large and X-Large images in FT USA cost US$1/2/3, right?

In the front page of FT Germany, France, Italy and Spain, it says 1/2/3 Euro.

In the front page of FT UK, it says 1/2/3 Pound.

When you go to "princing" in each site the real prices are shown, but doesn't that look odd from the advertisement point-of-view?  In UK the Medium is in fact 57p.

Adelaide

yeah that does look a little odd.  Perhaps it is 'ok' since it is LESS than advertised.?!

I can kind of understand why they do it (advertise in local currency with nice round numbers) but I dont think it looks good.  It potentially scares of some UK buyers as they think it is more expensive than other sites.

Fotolia Brasil doesn't write the currency, just $1/2/3.  People may think it is our currency, which is currently 2:1 to the US dollar.  It's the opposite situation as from UK.  :)

Too bad they are charging in foreign currency, because many people will find it awkward.  Even worse they are not paying photographers directly in our currency and bank accounts...

Adelaide
