Hi Everyone ;D
It's been a very long time since I have submitted anything to Fotolia. What are their review times usually like? I'm just wondering as I submitted some stuff to them on 2-26 but they're still listed as pending.

Last ones.. less 24 hours... and far as I remember never send a box of whiskey to them.
After all, any agency have bad and good periods over review time.
-
From 1 to 48 hours at the most.
-
How's this for review time:
SS => 24/2
123RF => 24/2
DT => 20/2 yup
This is probably related to IS exlcusives going independent.
FT should normaly take a day or so mate, have fun.
Update: FT images that were pending since yesterday have just been approved so there you go.
-
Less than 24hrs for review, but lately it then takes about a year for them to be viewed by any buyers!

Funny, I never get the "new image" sales that everyone reports on other sites but often get a whole batch of new submissions snapped up immediately on FT.
On topic, FT seems to have the fastest reviews - I have had approvals in the middle of submitting...

Me too! Approval of the first image before I finished submitting the last one of a batch of 20! Gave me the feeling of being chased!

My photos have been waiting for a week or so and nothing is happening yet. Also I received no replies to questions from customer support regarding something else. I am relatively new there but I'm a little disappointed.
-
Usually about 10-20 minutes

Usually about 10-20 minutes
Mine are usually reviewed in a matter of hours but have had some for a day and a half now.

Exactly the same here. I think it's the first time I've ever experienced a review time this long at Fotolia
-
Must have something to do with your ratings, approval ratio, or they are very selective. I am used to waiting for more than a week to get my images reviewed.
(Vectors however within a few minutes normally)
-
I always thought it had something to do with the different types of media submitted. Vector people were reporting short review times and photos took longer
-
Couple of weeks ago i had some images reviewed in minutes and now I have 4 or 5 images waiting since the weekend.
On FT forum others report the same extended wait and I see that the new images page still has the same first images as on Saturday/Sunday. Maybe the questionnaire is keeping them occupied. ;)
-
seems they are turning their site up side down after survey lol
-
I uploaded some images yesterday and all of them were reviewed within half an hour :D
-
My experience is inexplicably different. I'm accustomed to long review times and slow sales on FT. I uploaded images eight days ago that are still in the que. Additionally, without a bulk edit capability, it's a PITA to upload. FT is low priority for me.
-
8 days and still waiting..... :(
-
Upload from 19th start to get reviewed now. 2 Younger batches still in the queue.
-
Wow this is weird. Just uploaded two images and the first one is already approved - 1½ minutes. GOT to be a new record

yep got reviewed today . . . I'm excited! ;)

Yes, one reviewed and accepted on day 9, still have quite a few in the queue - but why do some get reviewed within a couple of days, hours even?

That is something that is starting to bother me too, and not just at FT btw, will look into this.

I've always been under the impression (for reasons I can't recall) that FT reviews illustrations faster than photographs.
In all the years I've been microstocking, my reviews there have been one-and-a-half to two days. Never changed. (Photographer).

Some images in review since March 27 here, never happened before btw.

48 hours review time here ( last ones were around 24h ).

FL reviews mine as I upload as a rule, often one min or less. I guess they prioritize somehow, maybe based on acceptance rate or sales?
I'm guessing mine don't pass by human eyeballs as it seems too quick to be a person receiving the files then reviewing them.

If they prioritize under thOse rules, my first 2011 batch would be under review until now :D
I had one or two batch's approved in minutes too (on the end of the year I think ). My Acceptance rate is around 50% ( :D ) and sales just "take off" this year.
But I believe that FT ( like others ) can have an special "rule" for best contributors.

Maybe top contributers just go straight through??? You should try submitting something really crap and see what happens ;D

I usually have images appoved in minutes or hours but have just had one approved after 4 days waiting.
-
Within a 10-day period, of 5 images submitted, all were reviewed and accepted within minutes. 7 days later, all 4 images took 3 days to be reviewed (unusually long for me), 3 were accepted and one rejected. One day you're hot and the next day you're not. ;D Try as I might, I cannot detect a pattern.

who let you in on my business plan?
