I can't get the FTP upload to work.

Okay, so I understand there's a login ID (number), my username login, and my account password.
Instructions tell me I should join 'username' and 'password' to get my FTP password.

In the FAQ it also tells me they should be lowercase (huh?) while it doesn't say so in the FTP upload page. Anyway, I've tried both to no avail.

So, to get things clear, let's state that my username is "John" and my password is "AbC123". My login ID is "123456789". (This is of course just for illustration purposes.)

My settings are:

Host: ftp://submit.fotolia.com
Logon type: Normal
User: 123456789
Password: johnabc123

But it doesn't work! Filezilla says login is incorrect. What am I doing wrong? My account is validated and all.

Oh wow, I just solved the mystery.

For those who might have the same problem: for the FTP password, type your username in lowercase, plus your password as usual.

User: 123456789
Password: johnAbC123

I do think Fotolia could explain better.

Thanks,

i fell to this same problem after updating my comp.
This was a clear reminder to save all filezilla contacts on next update.
