Is it on par with September and earlier months? I'm used to ups and downs with FT but this October is too quiet, December style. Anyone having the same?

I had a worrying gap of several days of no sales but turning into a pretty good month now.

Almost the same as September earnings already. Quite a new account there though, started in late May.

Incredibly dead since the beginning of October but some footage sales have started to come in since the 15th.

One site that is showing consistent growth, thankfully.

Good to hear someone is having no sales gaps too :) But I had a few of those since the beginning of the month, looks very unusual (and dead at times) considering the steady growth the months before

Agree! consistent growth month after month. They also show knowledge in search with commercially viable files right up front.

It's doing well. Sales are just slightly behind September's BME pace, but overall a very good month so far.

Reached my September level by now already, so if the things keep going on, I will have probably BME with FT in October. Must say though that for the last 4-5 days sales on FT just stopped after crazy avalanche of downloads first week or two of October.

What I'm shocked about is SS, I'm 35% down compared to September and unless I get a fat big EL sale (very very unlikely), it will be my worst month ever this year. Sales there just stopped and never exceed 1-2 downloads a day (shocker). Let's hope things will turn around soon.

My October sales are good. Anyway, my sales at Fotolia suddenly dropped for about 30-40% in mid June, and June, July, August were some of my worst months in a year. After I synced my account with Adobe, my sales increased again, I don't know, if this is just coincidence or it has something to do with it. Now, I know that summersmonths are slow, but that sudden drop was just to big....

As for SS, lokks like I'm going to have BME with $ thanks to 2 EL's and 2 SODs and probably also with number of sales.

Good sales, after 18 days FT has 17,70% of my total earnings in october.

Last year had 10,85% and this year, after 9 months and 18 days, has 11,78% (+0,93%).

Shutterstock has the worst performance 2015->2016. Down 3,59%.

I'm easily amused and watching my sales  Fotolia have just moved ahead by a few c this month. Last month SS saved the day with a juicy SoD. Beats watching F1.

Then I'll sinc with Adobe just in case :D

FT sales have been excellent for me all year.  This month slightly down on September,  but still good enough.

What would be 7.84 sale?

EDIT: 8.25 sale minus 0.42 taxes.

Fotolia has been great for me this year; in fact ahead of SS a bit every month. But October looks to be a disaster for me, with sales half of what I've been getting since the beginning of the year.
I did sync with Adobe; but I don't necessarily think there's a connection at this point.

With a few more days to go my October could be about 30% of the previous month

Lana, could it because most of your images are focused on landscape and travel but in the forth quarter (October-December) mostly Holiday related images sell? (Christmas, Thanksgiving, Shopping, Santa, New Year, Gifts, etc). How are your October sales on SS?

It's interesting as my port is similar (i.e. includes mostly holiday related images from travel destinations), but still Fotolia is projected to be +45% month-over-month. At the same time SS is going in reverse, around -40% in October compared to September. In fact, it's going to be my first month where FT outpaces SS, in almost 2 years of experience.

I guess it's really impossible to figure it out, unless you know all the ingredients, including both company's internal ones and external factors.

Maybe it could, didn't occur to me :)
my SS sales are good in October, already surpassed September numbers (which were on a low side). But on SS most of my customers come from Central America, so maybe they are interested in my topics all year round, while Fotolia buyers are split between Europe and US (that's my guess), so yeah could be a seasonal thing for me :-\

Today sales are very very slow,  others? And image review time is longer than usual.

FT up maybe BME and SS is close to BME also. I have been uploading new and old to AdobeStock which could explain gains. All the rest suck eggs especially IS.
