Title: How long for approval at Fotolia?
Post by: eman333 on October 16, 2010, 19:21: Hello, I signed up to Fotolia a month back, and submitted my first 3 images 2 weeks ago and they are still waiting in the que.... Is this normal? I am also unable to post on the fotilia forums and there is nothgin in their FAQ about this.

If someone can clear this up, that would be great thanks.

Post by: Danicek on October 17, 2010, 07:44: It is common on some other sites (SS for example), that the initial submission takes significantly longer than the regular ones once the initial application is approved. I'm not even sure if FT has anything like initial application as such. However even if not, the first submission may still be subject to different queue/schedule than submissions of regulars ;].

wow.. I never had them reviewed in less than day after uploading.. After that day yes they are reviewed in minutes..

Well,something is wrong with your account is it validated?
Probably it's not e-mail support and they will fix soon.
That was my case after I e-mail them they validated my account and approval process started immediately

Stockfresh - haven't heard of that one before. Is it doing well for you?

I kind of remember my account was in pending and i didn't know what to do till i saw the status..

Post by: Mysmasken on November 29, 2010, 23:11: Yes, I contacted them and I had forgotten to validate my account (click a link in the Email)... Rather weird that you can upload without having validated your account. But now I'm in and pictures will be reviewed within 48-72 hours they said.
