Title: How much is 1 AdobeStock credit?
Post by: harbinger on September 18, 2019, 14:52
Could someone please calculate what is the equivalent value of 1 AdobeStock credit?

If I calculate it myself using the AdobeStock ranks than the value of 1 Adobestock credit would be less than 0.50 Euros in any of the ranks. Is this result correct?

I've used this ranks table for calculation:

Mmm One credit Is only One credit I think...
Adobe works with different value Money Exchange. I'm in Europe and One credit Is 1euro for me. I dont' exactly what you mean translating that in 50 cents

Also, talking about ranks, for what I know rank Is considered only with number of sales, not value

Here is a citation from AdobeStock:

"Royalty rates are based on contributors ranks. The higher the rank, the higher the contributor's percentage."

Obvoiusly 1 credit will not be equal 1 Euro, if the contributors royalty depends on his rank.

1 credit = $1.00 = €1.00 = GBP£0.75

Percentage of your cut of sale depends on the rank, not credit value, you convert credits after the sale(s) is done and you got your share.

The value of the credits is the same or everyone (differing countries and currencies aside) the higher the rank only relates to how many credits you get.

It seems there may be some confusion on this. The credit value is the same for all contributors based on the zone your account is registered in. The percentage you have referenced is the rate paid based on the price the customer paid for the license. The price paid can vary from customer to customer based on how many images they commit to purchase.

More information about royalties can be found here: https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/royalty-details.html
