All these while, I have been promoting my Adobe Stock Portfolio to my fans (through my website and social media) and have successfully referred many of them to become customers at Adobe Stock. I have been telling them that if they want to buy all my artworks, then Adobe Stock is a good site because the royalty is fair to contributors and it has a powerful search engine.

However, upon realizing that my portfolio visibility are actually limited by different regions, how could I ever promote my portfolio at Adobe Stock proudly anymore?

I did not even know about this region thing until recently. I feel ashamed that all these while, I have been sharing my portfolio with such limited visibility. I think only 5%-10% of my entire portfolio are actually showing up.

I think I need to change my strategy and start promoting other sites now :(

I couldn't agree with you more. I am also very disappointed with the future direction of Adobe. I would have thought that at least one big player in this field would have taken us into account. I guess I was wrong. This regional thing is just one more nail in their coffin.

I feel your pain and completely agree with you. And 5%-10 is a good number to be honest, I think it is lesser :(

Especially if you not only upload photos taken in that regions, also if Adobe knows via upload, even backgrounds with no regional background, but uploaded from these countries! You can be lucky, if 1% is visible!

And until now no clear statement from adobe (via Adobe support) or Mat - only rhetorical answers with no mean.
That is why I left Adobe with my personal account and upload via Wirestock again to Adobe. In  that way I still do business with evengelists sects and the devel, but not official with my name anymore. (What would my friends from these regions think about me?! >:(
Best after that move to Wirestock:
Much more sales there on Adobe AND NOW Adobe even do not know, my photos got uploaded from where - only left the photos taken in my country, which is treated bad and discriminated together with many other poor countries or just Moslem countries.

AMERICA FIRST!!!!
 >:( :'( VOMIT VOMIT VOMIT

As usual:

Mat answered promtly in another thread, but does not care about this thread and theme.
It is not a critique personally about Mat, because we do not know, what Adobe told him to do or not to do.  :-[

Ok, so I've checked my port on AS...
Same visibility with and without VPN (chose multiple locations all over the world). My search rankings are identical from all locations.
I'm located in Eastern Europe. Where are you from?
I guess it doesn't affect all regions?

If eastern Europe is one of the banned regions, then might be not that much banned.
Banned most are regions from Moslem countries and poor regions. Or with other words: Not effected are all from the USA, rich European countries, Australia, Singapore and so on.
Its just simple:
Countries who (are able to) pay monthly for any adobe software are not banned, but these rich evangelist christians also cannot see the photos from that banned countries - well they might be able to see 5% selected.

I checked:
Upload via wirestock and take out every keyword which shows that my photos are from Indonesia, a poor Moslem country, are shown as usual! But when I still had the exactly same images - also without keywords from Indonesia on my own portfolio on Adobe, they were not shown.
If there are keywords from Indonesia it does not matter, if on your own portfolio or via wirestock: They will not come up in search results.

It is so stupid to say that it can be solved by changing the region (Mat said that). For what making it such difficult?
Well, they reduces the offered images for software users to a minimum and now also try to offer them as much possible for free.

Adobe is not caring about stock photos, but only on their software products.

Hi Guys,

I am located in Middle East and I see that my sales are very, very low comparing to other agencies. I can also see, that my portfolio is not visible from different parts of the world, so I think I am experiencing this amazing Adobe region restrictions.

I have few questions:
1. Did anybody try uploading the pictures using VPN so Adobe cannot recognize the region? Did it help?
2. Did anybody see any difference after moving to different region? I am planning to move back to Europe and I am thinking if my portfolio is linked to Middle East forever or if the location change can help?

TIA!

VPN, good idea, but it would not helpt to get already uploaded images appear - only the new ones.
I left Adobe for that reason and now ALL my images without needed keywords regarding Indonesia appear everywhere and got sales - via Wirestock!
Deleted on Adobe, a day later uploaded to Wirestock. That easy!
Best: I get at least more revenue via Wirestock because of the levels and all many of my editorials got accepted from Adobe and sells even better than commercials.
Best sellers from Singapore: Not surprising in case of that crap region thing.

And Matt again will not answer here!

2. Moving back to Europe:
My suggestion - if you still want to keep selling directly on Adobe:
Find out, which images not appear now: Mark them in any way - maybe put them all in one collection on Adobe.
Then, after reaching Europe: Open a second account located in Europe and doe this:
Delete all from your collection and upload them again via your new account.
It will be fast and easy, if you have the keywords saved on your PC. Even copy paste could be an option.
Benefit beside: Your moved images will get a fresh start like new uploads!
