It's a good strategy to maximize your profit, I think.

You mean change the extended price to 60 from 30? It doesn't seem to affect the XL L prices so I guess it doesn't make much of a difference unless you sell lots of extended licenses...

I couldn't find a way to do it for video, is it possible?

Can you elaborate on how you increased the price of the best selling photos? I increased the price of the ELs by contacting Mat and he did a global change, but can individual image prices be changed? if yes, can you explain the process?

Don't you need be either exclusive Gold or non exclusive Emerald before you can change prices?

I don't know why I can change the price of some photos.  Maybe it has to do with how many sales the photo has made and my contributor level based on past sales.  I change XS price to 3.  That automatically changes the X price to 90, but you can set at 100 if you want.

XS price [1-3] X price [90-100]

So you must be either at the Saphire+ ranking or offer partial or fully exclusive files to able to set your base price at 3 credits.

It has nothing to do with how many downloads you had per photo it's the total that counts: https://www.fotolia.com/Info/Contributors/Royalties

Ah, OK, I am not at gold yet.  :( edit: Actually I see you can start changing prices at Emerald, as Minsc mentioned above.
