I am trying to correct the keywords on already uploaded videos to match the relevance by order.  I am using this URL to fix the files in Portfolio: https://contributor.stock.adobe.com/en/portfolio/videos

I am not able to copy paste anything, I have to do it manually for every file and order them individually only even from the same batch.  Pasting and pressing enter does nothing in any box.  The interface is not the same as in the submission /keywording page for new files.  Hope that clears it up.

I understand now. Yes, the edit function for content already online is not as convenient as the actual indexing tool. I don't recommend you have your standard workflow setup to edit keywords after approval. I don't anticipate the functionality of that tool getting much better any time in the near future. You are going to have a much easier time getting the keywords in proper order before submitting for review.

@mat - Not sure if Adobe is trying to do this with ai rather than manually for the foreseeable future, but I would +1 the custom thumbnail suggestion as well.

Yep, that's a big request and it has been noted.

Thanks again,

Mat

@MatHayward

Seems I am out of luck. By just allowing pasting a block of keywords on the already approved files it would be enough. Only Fotolia/Adobe asks for this keyword relevance order in the stock world and as such the tools to make it possible should be easy to use and not cumbersome for all stages of file adjustment.

All my new uploads are being ordered properly on my end for a couple of months but I found out about this relevance after the fact over a year later than I uploaded must of my footage.   Why have two different interfaces at the time of upload and later?  The code is already built it is just a matter of calling that code object for already approved files.

Hundreds of hours of wasted time fixing this is really no fun!  :-[

Yes...while we're on the topic, I find the keyword ordering a time consuming extra step. I use Lightroom which orders keywords alphabetically. After upload, I must manually change keyword order. It would benefit everyone if keywords were all weighted equally, then as downloads occur based on certain keywords, the website would create it's own keyword weighting over time...not only easier for contributors, but actually better because weighting would be based on real data, not just the contributors guesses.

while you are reading and answering questions, is there any way to get useful statistics on sales - like how many sales for how much in a given month on Adobe - or else a way to open up access to the Fotolia interface for all? I am pleased to report I have enough sales that I really don't want to have to add them up by hand (of course that is anything more than 1 sale for me).

I agree, it's a bummer keywords are alphabetized in Lightroom. I've asked about this and I don't anticipate it changing in the future. In my personal workflow, I do my RAW conversions in LR then finish everything in PS. I use Bridge to add my keywords where the order is not changed.

I'm in San Francisco this week meeting with engineers from all around the world to discuss Contributor Portal features and contributor requests. Stats are at the top of the list and I hope to have an update for you in the not-too-distant-future.

I know that I am off topic, but as this thread is active I will ask here.

When I have 1 image accepted I receive 1 email.
When I have 100 images acceptes I receive 100 emails!! (and it becomes kind of spam)

Why Adobe does not regroup all the acceptance notification mails in one (or daily) as all other sites do?
(Or is it a way to look "different" :p )

This has been discussed. I can't say if or when it will be changed but I can say that I'm in your corner on this one and will continue to push for it.
