This is a message to Fotolia who not responded to my messages and email. And all other fellow Fotolia contributors, please beware this site, you may lose your valuable money any time so please don't be a fool

"Are you trying to fool me, I want my money back now or I am decided to publish my images free on online. I don't like to continue with you anymore. You are not the only stock site in the world so don't be over smart, and don't waste your time to unblock me I just need my money on"

I read the OP's text twice, but can't quite understand what this is about?

Well, he had this thread going, so I think might have something to do with this?

http://www.microstockgroup.com/fotolia-com/payout-delays-at-fotolia-25548/msg429479/?topicseen#new

If so, to the OP: did you email Mat Hayward and ask for help? He is usually VERY prompt on taking care of contributors here. If you did, what was the outcome?

"I want my money back now or I am decided to publish my images free on online." That doesn't really spite anyone but yourself. If you don't want to continue, you could also email Mat and tell him to close your account.

Perhaps the post is about their policy of allowing images to be part of the free section.   The default changes to YES option on its own but not 100% of the time so  it is easy to assume.  It is important to check each image before confirming upload.

A few days ago, one of my images was added to the free section.  I admit that I was not too happy that somehow the it got changed to yes without my realizing it.  The particular photograph won an international award and I was not too happy about the idea of giving it away free.  I ended up deleting the image.

That setting really seems to bounce back and forth by its own. The conspiracy theorist in me suggests it's not a complete accident :(

Is there a way to check if any of my images has accidentally been put to the free section?

Isn't that checkbox just for rejected images?

That's all there is. Only 3 images out of the entire collection are offered as available for free downloads each week. The odds of your image actually being used are staggeringly low. Those that are featured get huge exposure to their portfolio.

That being said, if you accidentally checked yes to the free section during an upload and the image was refused for the standard collection but approved for the free section you can simply delete the file from your account at your convenience to prevent it from ever being offered in the free section.

While exposure is nice, I did ended up deleting the image.  I just cannot see offering a photo for free that has won international and other art awards.  If the image was rejected because of lack of commercial value, then I will just continue to sell it from my art portfolio rather than offer it for free.

It would be really nice if there was a way to set the default as no and have it stay as no and then opt in for particular images... or vice versa for those who want to do the opposite.

It should be set to no by default @Hildegarde. If it's not for some reason, grab a screen shot and send it my way to take a look.

They are criminals...cheating our money...in fact they check all pictures we uplaod...and they approved but when times comes to withdraw money...they block account..its time for all to stand together n teach fotolia a lesson...if not..soon u will face it too...
