Title: Negative credit balance on Fotolia
Post by: domencolja on May 08, 2008, 06:00
Anyone else having the same problem of a negative credit balance? I cashed out my regular sum this month and the credits went below zero to around -4, then went up as I sold new files, but then again fell to a negative.

Is this a glitch of some sort? How's it possible?

Just got another answer from fotolia, now they claim that customers demanded a refund for some reason.
Sorry, but i find this hard to believe.
First, sales dropped inmensively past two weeks, and when i finally get 5 downloads/11 credits on may 5th, 5 different customers and all five demand a refund... hard to believe.
Frankly, i never had a client ask for a refund on fotolia, and now all of a sudden 5 on the same day... how big a chance is that..?..

;) Interesting to see all the refunds being commenced on the same day.

p.s.: I always was sceptic about refunds of digital material. A customer could still use the files AND ask for a refund. There's so many microstock sources out there that it's pretty much impossible to keep track of the usage. And the small prices make it senseless to act against malversations anyways...
