Fotolia introduced a new standard relevancy search on Wednesday. That led to a massive fall of income to many German top contributors (including myself). Fotolia decided to temporarily switch back to the old relevance search in Germany.

But since there seems no sign of such an income drop for contributors from other countries, I want to ask:

Have you experienced a change at your Fotolia earnings and downloads since Wednesday?

If you, in what direction?

Thanks,
Robert

Quite the same really.  The FT search though is not very good or accurate for that matter.

big decrease, around 50%. Furthermore, the search seems really more random now with many less good images very high...

Not noticed anything different yet with regards to sales, I'm in the UK.

So its seems to be no question of the language of keywords. Good to know.

Decent increase in dl's in the last month but I have been regularly uploading. On FT UK site. Fast reviews (1-2 days) and very few rejects. I am encouraged to upload more!

hard to say as I don't sell a lot there, but yes, have actually made daily sales over the past few days, which is unusual. however, it's still just an  average month.

edit: ok, just had a "big" sale so now having BME. still small time compared to the real 'stockers. but prePP FT is outselling iS and DT, that's a first. of course I am increasing portfolio too, so I should hope for an upward climb.

@JPSDK and @somethingpretentious:

What language do you keyword in?

Fotolia is at about 10% of its former glory for me. But in the past days there were a day or two when my sales were up quite a lot. I registered the first time at Fotolia USA when I was in the US but then changed to Euro when moved back to Germany, I keyword in English.

Keywords in US-english. (cause of the catastrophal translation-tool)

Downloads and earnings the same like in the last months.

...but earnings half of 2010 and 2011 with tendence clear down, cause of repeated cutting RPD more than 50%.
Cheaper prices and cutting comissions, more and more subscription and unfair (fraudulent) new subscription-models...

My sales have been very good at FT, I had my BME in my 13th month with FT. I have been uploading consistently and key wording in US/UK English. For a while I did do the 7 important keywords thingy but stopped doing that as I dont see a difference in sales.

Exact same here.  Maybe slight increase, but mostly business as usual.  I would love to see things pick up there after more than a year of really poor sales.  Maybe when they get their search ironed out...

Something musta changed at FT. I earned more today (so far) there than I did at SS.  ;D

And that's with an ODD at SS! Not a huge difference but I've not experienced that before.

I agree, something has changed.  I have seen my weekly ranking go from consistently in the 500-600 range to being in the 300s all this week.  Still not a reason to break out the champagne, but at least it's movement in the right direction.  Maybe their (rumored) policy of punishing emeralds in the search hasn't worked out so well?

Slight increase, but still more than 15% down compared to last year.
Keywording is in English, I live in Belgium.
