Title: No increase in RPD since Fotolia sub changes
Post by: Justanotherphotographer on November 25, 2014, 04:38
I was just reviewing my stats and found no increase in average RPD since Fotolia announced the "HUGE" increase in commission for sub sales:

http://www.microstockgroup.com/fotolia-com/huge-increase-in-subscription-commissions!/ (http://www.microstockgroup.com/fotolia-com/huge-increase-in-subscription-commissions!/)

Not really surprised. So I guess the extra 5% on top of the 20% I'd be getting if I joined DPC would also amount to zilch. Anyone see anything different in their stats?

ETA did anything come of the DPC EL announcement mentioned in that thread?

Of course it didn't ~ they threw the dog a bone to stop it howling over DPC.

And they chose the method which would cost them the least amount of money.

They don't respect you, me or any contributor we are milch cows.

For most contributors. Hopefully it is or becomes a big fail for FOTOLIA. In case you missed it......
