I'm happy with fotolia. Somehow this month my sales tanked... From 20-30 sales a day and a couple hundred dollars a month, I'm now at 0-4 sales a day and will be lucky to get 100$ (including videos) at the end of May. Is it my turn to be on the poor side of the search or what?
-
Same here...
Search by relevance results changed a lot recently, but i don't know if this is the only reason.
-
Very long and deep dive here too :(
-
It is true! For me Fotolia lost some 25-30% sales... but weekly ranking did not drop... so I assume they have sudden sale drop for the whole photo library
-
After months of daily sales, everything suddenly stopped 7 days ago. No sales what-so-ever. I checked my port and all looks OK. Nothing obviously wrong. Anyone else seen this dramatic of a decline recently?
-
Yeah, my sales are also kind of low for the last week or so. I mean, I have daily sales, just not as much as usual.
-
Here all agencies dropped, except Dreamstime.

I think the closure of DPC affected some contributors more than others. My overall sales have dropped by about 10-20% since DPC closed down, but my overall rank has gone up. I'm definitely missing those sales though.
-
And I was told that DPC was disaster for contributors and their sales and earnings....
-
I'm looking at my views and they are higher than ever this whole May especially the last 10 days when sales dropped.. confusing ???
-
My weekly rank fell 2x, that never happened before, I usually improve with time. Might be that they changed the search algorithm.
-

I was told the same. By people who weren't on DPC. Often seems like the people around here with the loudest opinions are the ones with the least knowledge of what they're talking about

Honestly, a lot more people are back on board now FL is picking up and treating people more fairly. Much more likely people's slide is down to the increased competition, especially when you rank outside the top 1000, where a few sales here and there make all the difference. I have seen no big swing one way or the other recently, I am top 200 overall and weekly.

It was and I'm glad it's dead.

Same here Lana, lots of views but no sales. I went from sales every day to one in two weeks.

That's probably it for many of us. If you are not seeing much difference then that is probably good overall. For me there has been a big drop the past 3-4 weeks, and I am mostly getting base-level subs rather than the higher-value ones that were coming before. My weekly rank has almost always been much lower than my overall rank since I started with them in 2009 but that changed about three weeks ago. Guess I'll have to start submitting again if I want to fight against the tide.
