Title: Payout Interval for Adobe
Post by: wds on June 09, 2020, 15:39
I just saw the following message on my Adobe page:

"To request payment you need at least $25 in available earnings. Additionally, you should not have other pending payouts, and 45 days must have passed since your first sale."

The "45 days since your first sale" part...does this mean that you can't get monthly payouts?

I request my payment at the beginning of each month and am paid regularly.

I think they mean literally from your first sale, so this is a condition that applies only to the first payout and probably is to stop scams where there's masses of downloads of your own content from fake credit cards (or something like that).

Jo Ann is correct. This restriction is for your first payment request only. Once you've qualified for and received your first payment you can submit new payment requests whenever you reach the minimum amount of $25 (only one request can be pending at a time). The wait time for processing varies but generally is between 7-10 business days from the time you submit the request.

^^ What Mat said. ^^

I routinely request my $25 payout as soon as I reach it. The money comes promptly, without fail, and some months I request that payout more than once.

It's a nice way to do business.

Thanks! I suspected that may have been the case the wording seems ambiguous.
