Hi All,
As the subject says...the minimum payment amount at Adobe Stock has been reduced from $50 to $25. If you have a balance of at least $25 in your account you can submit a payment request.

Kind regards,

and no one comments??
Well thank you Adobe and for Matt for being a bearer of good news :D

Great news.
But us who receive EUR would also like Payoneer, or converting or switching to USD in order to be able to use Payoneer. Will there ever be any EUR to Payoneer solution?
-
Good decision.
Some agencies who earn much, much less than AS/FL should follow this example.

I like As, but for me it's not a good news.I remember when SS did that, it's announcing more contributors and global earnings for As, but less earnings for each one.

¿ How's that make any difference to anything I do? If I take my money at $25 or $50 or $100 how is that "not good news"? I really don't understand your point.
True they are carrying less debt on the books, their balance looks better.

I read it and didn't have anything positive to say, so I didn't. For most established contributors this makes no difference at all.
I'm certainly curious as to why they did this and why they didn't explain a reason when announcing it, but am not surprised that they feel no need to explain themselves.
It was good of Mat to make an announcement here so people know - I didn't get any email from Adobe telling me about this change, and I do think it's important for contributors to be kept informed about policy and procedure changes.

Lower minimum payout is always better. Doesn't make any difference for me, but for newbies this could be a good thing.

If anything, Paypal might profit.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. We made the change to allow new contributors to cash out sooner. When first getting started it can take a while to get enough momentum to reach the $50 minimum.
An additional advantage for contributors with this change is that in the US, contributors receive a 1099 tax form on commissions regardless of whether the earnings were cashed out or not. This way, contributors that had earned between $25 and $50 in 2018 can cash out. It should make claiming the earnings on tax returns an easier pill to swallow.

So long as Adobe don't decide to do a shutterstock and allow any fool able to press a shutter button to submit dreadful rubbish and swamp the place

Paypal always profits otherwise there would be no paypal ;D

It would be good if DT followed this model. Over there, some people have to wait for an eternity to receive a payout.

Indeed. Also istock. Maybe to 50... Considering the 0.01 sales

Yes, with the number of sales they generate, it’s insane to have a $100 payout threshold
Old school thinking and not willing to adapt have made this once decent agency into another Garbo earner

just question - when we set payout in Eur we don't have option Payoneer, just Paypal and Skrill, can it be fixed?

Good news for beginners :)

What about auto payout (like Shutterstock) when you reach the step?

What about auto payout (like Shutterstock) when you reach the step?
I would not want auto payout every $25, so if there were automatic payments (which would be very welcome), it needs to be a user-settable money threshold or, ideally, monthly (like SS where you can set the minimum so those who want to be paid less frequently than once a month because of transaction fees have that option too). Direct deposit to my bank account (like Alamy) would also be a plus.
But then I'd also like to be able to search my portfolio (on the contributor side) by keywords or image number, and to see the total earnings for each image, and...
Given all the missing features in the Adobe contributor interface, I'd probably put those at a higher priority than automatic payments

I cashed out a few days ago..on there not sure I will be doing that again ever......

Yes, it is what I meant when I wrote (like Shutterstock). Automatic for the threshold you have chosen and for a for pre-determined interval of time.
About the search on the own portfolio this is a very good (and needed) point.
There is so many time that I am hoping to have this feature.
This morning I had to search for an old photo that I wanted to delete and I needed to watch 50 pages of portfolio before than I found it… Very inefficient method and very time consuming.
Wake up Adobe, we are in 2020!!
