maybe they have certain days out of the month that they pay contributers, like maybe twice a month or something.... hence giving it the 2 week possible waiting period?
Mine took a week and a day, which seems kind of normal for me when Fotolia is involved.  Thank god i don't rely on this site for rent money!!!

I'm one sale away from my next payout, so I'll see if it goes fast again.

A payout requested on Oct 25th only reached my MB account today.  So it seems they are ranging from 24h to one week or more.

Adelaide

Mine was fast this time: Requested October 31st, Received November 2nd. But I had to wait up to two weeks before.

I was beginning to think they're going out of business or something (sorry - my first post here is doom and gloom sounding).

I finally hit my first $50 mark there, and put in a Paypal payment request. A week goes by, and they tell me I have to resubmit my photo ID to my profile, which I do. Then they tell me it doesn't have all the info they need? (It's a U.S. driver's licence). They have my SSN on file, anyway. So I email them again, and they say it's "processing and can take up to two weeks". So, 20 days goes by with no word. I email again. No reply other than to say it's processing. Then I call them during regular business hours... their phone rings 22 times before it answers, and it sounds like a very basic voice mail machine (!) I send yet another email, and now they ask me for my user name, and all info about the request (wouldn't they HAVE this as I submitted the request when I was logged in??). I give them that, and so far - no answer.

I'm sorry - this seems very fishy to me. This is the type of behavior a company does when it's about to shut down or is being taken over by someone, and they're avoiding everyone - either that or we're talking about complete incompetence on the part of the staff there.

Has anyone else had this problem out of them before? I guess so from reading posts, but it just seems so odd.  With iStock, Shutterstock, and Dreamstime I've never had any delays or problems at all getting payments. I'm still waiting for Fotolia to tell me they still need a DNA and urine sample from me next!

there is no problem. as far as I can remember fotolia is paying every 10-12th day of their internal cycle. so if you are lucky to ask payment a day before end of cycle you will get money in 1 day. if you are unlycky to ask payment day after end of cycle you will get money in 10-12 days. simple as that, and it has been like that in last year, at least.

yes the payment from Fotolia comes slowly sometimes, but it comes without problems.

Asking for and ID at registration or at the first payment is normal practice for all microstocks, and they will not do that every time (only once in beginning).

I understand there's certain things they need, but they now have had everything they need from me for a long time.   Just today when they replied to my last email they again said they needed my user name and the date of the original request - even though I've sent this to them TWICE already and told them so, and even also left it on their voice mail!

They're driving me mad - it's like listening to a broken record over and over.   If it were five or ten dollars I'd just tell these people to shove it and close my account, but when you get to $50 - hey, that's my phone bill for a month. LOL.  I need that during the Xmas season.  ARGH   I can honestly say I've never dealt with such an incompetent company in my 42 years of life. And hey - I've even been to Alabama!

I'm not worried about Fotolia going out of business.  The sales there are good.

But this is really getting to be a PITA waiting so long for payouts.  I have one pending since the 6th now.  That is just too long.  Especially when you can only request one payout at a time.

Considering all the fraud issues and security problems they have had over the past couple of years I am not comfortable being forced to let balances accumulate in the account.

Not to mention if I could make requests more often then maybe when they FINALLY trouble themselves to pay I could collect more than one payout at a time.

Wrote to Chad and heard nothing.  Obviously paying royalties is just not a big priority with Fotolia and hasn't been for months.

Just had a payout from them in less than 48 hours. That must be some kind of record  :)

I finally got mine today.  12 Days waiting.

Looks like Peter nailed it.  They pay on a 12 day cycle regardless of when you ask for it.  I always request as soon as I get a payment, so looks like I will be waiting 12 days on a regular basis.

Would it really break them to schedule payouts every week instead of nearly every two weeks?  Or alternately allow us to go back to requesting payouts while we have one outstanding (which we could always do up until a couple of months ago)?

It does not inspire warm feelings when they throw up pointless obstacles to getting our money.

Still waiting. So you guys got through the payment cycle? They are a pain in the a**. I find them and 123rf almost impossible to deal with.

Every time I want to get paid I have to reload my ID.

I asked Fotolia for a payout, and then DT 5 days later. DT paid me last Thursday. I am still "pending" with Fotolia.
