When FO rejects some of my works I got an email with a generic reason of rejection....but what is the true problem???

When you get this kind of email are you able to understand the true problem? Do you contact the support? What do you do?

I wonder why the reviewer doesn't tell the true problem....if she/he rejects the photo/video/illustration she/he knows why.

It's the way Fotolia does rejections. They don't really tell you.

Only bother trying again if the image gets lots of downloads at other sites.

There is no need to upload again. If you think it is a mistake just contact the support asking for a second chance. Good luck

I usually do one resubmission then move on. Of the 5 large agencies I submit to I find Fotolia to be the pickiest when it come to accepting images.

Their standard technical rejection email lists 9 things from focus to applied effect so not helpful. I find the majority of time it's focus, which they are very picky about, I reduce the resolution by a little, resubmit and 8/10 times it gets accepted.
