Lostintimeline is quite right.  Unlike Adobe, technical rejections at SS say something like focus or noise, but on close examination there is no focus or noise problem in the photo, so the stated reason is useless.

I did some images of flags some time ago and got them rejected with the "technical issues" reason.
(to be exact, 1 image for each of the 253 country flags in the world)

After talking to support (which was very kind), I was told that flags are content that is not wanted by AdobeStock anymore, as the already have enough of them.
So the reason "technical issues" was im my case "We actually do not want this type of content".

Thanks for the additional. I would have guessed similar content should have been their correct reason, in a broad way, too many flags. Oh well, we get what we get and then have to guess?

Adobe has suddenly gone from accepting about 90% of what I submit to rejecting 80%, including many that I consider to be quite high quality, and not too similar to others.   There must be something going on with their review process.

When they do accept something, they sit on it thinking about it for about a week.

I have stopped uploading to them for the time being.  Might as well save up my files for when they are ready to accept them again.

There can be only two reasons for it:

1. They us API like SS now.

But I am pretty sure they do not, but instead:

2. They are very selective on the KIND of images are uploaded:
If they have already good sellers from that topic, they reject it. Or if some of their supported artists have similar photos - no matter of the quality! - they then reject new entrees.

Why they do it?
They prefer to have a portfolio, which just has enough diversity in any kind, but do not want oversupply it.
They offer special collections only for Adobe software users or other kind of customer . They do not care about getting new stuff at all anymore.
New? Well, OLD, never sold images they offer for free. Thats it!

Region? Yes, another important new point, but Adobe put it on secret, what it is about.
So, they offer special collections - selected from Adobe - to selected KIND of buyers.
Poor countries and Moslem countries cannot reach the whole portfolio from Adobe, except the clever ones, who knows how to change the region. Why Adobe put this big stone in the way for that regions? No idea! Their secret! I asked many many times about it and many others too, but no reaction from Adobe. SECRET!

If you want to offer new stuff: keyword order is NOT important anymore and most likely not a kind of interest for Adobe.
And if you upload stuff from that discriminated and partly blocked regions: Even if accepted: These special regions, who might buy the most of these kind of photos, will never see them - even if they search for it. And US customers are less interested in that stuff.

So, if you are a good seller on Adobe with your old stuff: Do not delete them! They will maybe more supported now, because all new stuff will be difficult to get accepted or appear in search results for that important regions.

It is a kind of different classes:
first class sellers, first class buyers. All others are not interesting for Adobe anymore.

When I joined adobe over 18mnths ago during winter, I had nearly every photo accepted but after end of May 2020 (the SS pay cut) they rejected much more for tech issues when by that time my photos had improved not least because light had got better in the spring/summer. I queried support and they said I had other similar photos in my port even though they were taken much earlier.

Agree.
Items rejected for data issues.

1. Titles must not contain copywritten words or offensive language - common and scientific names for insects used. No offensive words.

2. Keywords must be in order of relevance not alphabetical and must be in the language of origin - relevant to whom. Alphabetical or not a keyword is supposed to guide a search towards the item. How do I know what order a buyer is likely to type in a set of keywords. Again Latin for group and sub group. There isn't an equivilant in English.

Very disparaging and monotonous. At least support do support. But waiting 4 to 5 days for video submissions to be knocked back a second time for slightly different reasons as above is not helpful to anyone.
