I closed my account there and I'm quite happy. I manage to open one again when I will understand a bit how the search work. At the time, they seem to don't even care a bit on what the contributors cares about.

OR they all run away from the headquarters and will never get back. The agency is run by a small computer somewhere in the north pole

This failure has happend today. It was working OK since today. We should all report it so they take it seriously. I already reported it to support. I tried only with "cherry" and "lemon", God knows how many other words are affected.

PLEASE don't tell/do anything... after 2 months my sales are finally back to normal with 5-6 sales a day and back in the 600s rank from 1500+...

my sales are great this month also. But I think they just messed it up. Unless they fix it quickly.

"pyramid" is also not found.

I also noticed that images are sorted only by "relevance" other options are not working like by date by popularity etc. They surely have a problem there.

Makes you wonder if the search had been working properly for all this time, how many extra sales we would have had!!

Come on dude, search has broken only since 2 days ago. It needs to be fixed, It wont change anything.

I'm having my 2nd best day ever today at FT.  I seem to always come out well when they mess up the search for other people. 

They must change the best match order barely every weeks. I wonder what is behind these changes? Why they don't just make it by newer files and files performance like in the biggest agencies, it's so simple.

IS just put in front the newer files for giving them a chance, just behind the performant ones with already some downloads. Then the new ones getting some downloads are pushed a little bit harder in front and the ones without goes more and deeper at the end of the best match.

Even my psychologist is not as smart of this way to see the success...

SS give a chance to the newer when buyers are selecting "sort by newer files". They know they are one agency with the most added files a week and the buyers know it also. Then this feature could be popular. When a file is downloaded a couple of times in a short period it show in front of the "revelency" search.

My question is: Why it's so complicated for Fotolia? Who's this genius controlling a that important part of the agency?

from time to time seems that they change something in search engine and there
are ocassional massive sales and views for a day or two and then nothing

this is going on for me the last 3 months

i think it is normal for this time of year. august is month of vacation for most people in Europe.

I hope you are right. I know most of Italy goes on vacations in August, hope they are the ones that buy my images the most and will do it again in September. But still I have some doubts about it. The dowloads just stopped. Was getting 2-5dl/day now I've had 3 downloads in a week. Ah well, better upload some more images
