Title: Search not working properly?
Post by: Video-StockOrg on February 22, 2020, 02:52
Can anyone clarify if this is normal for Adobe stock search?

this is the title of my stock footage
(https://video-stock.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/adobe-useless-search.jpg)

and their useless search results:

Does this mean that there are many many files in my portfolio that aren't even searchable? But if I put in "child doctor" I am able to find it...

This makes NO COMMON SENSE.

You are searching your own portfolio? I suppose that would be odd, looking in your own and not finding anything?

Here are some comments:

I wonder if that massive link will work?

But I got that by search All Adobe:  https://stock.adobe.com/?locale=en_US  then selected video

You don't have all the same words, in your keywords. Also you might try "giving vaccine Injection" "administering vaccine shot" or injection, as a title, plus the actual language would be Injecting Vaccine INTO arm. Yeah picky picky, but still have in added in your keywords and try the whole phrase as well.

Then add the keyword, in because it's not there. I don't know why the title wouldn't be enough since you searched the exact phrase. Mat will know.  :)

This makes NO COMMON SENSE.

Like some of your keywords "cheerful, ordination, young-up, precision, medicals?
(should be medical)

You hid most of your keywords but you missed out vaccine for starters but I look for "young-up" and see all 58!! of your video clips

So before you blame Adobe check your own work first because you miss out essential key words and put in incorrect ones  ::)

Oh and Pediatric relates to child medicine not kids pretending to be doctors  ;)

Is this related to the search results I'm pointing out in the first post? No? Then you know where is your place. I know keywords are not perfect. But not even finding the clip via direct copy-paste search isn't normal.

offtopic question:

curious to see it, I typed "adobestock injecting vaccine on arm" straight to the address bar,
followed google first result in videos and voila: search bar defaults to premium.
Is this the normal in Adobe Stock?

ontopic, maybe word "arm" triggers any negative filter related to armory?

Oh stop getting triggered just sort your own keywords out Adobe can't be blamed if you get it wrong  ::)

I'm sorry for suggesting you should sort your keywords out. I should keep my mouth shut and let your videos continue to not be found  ;D

You don't have "vaccine" as a keyword.  Titles aren't keywords on Adobe. Add the words, and it will show up.

That's a great question. Google will index the titles, so they aren't useless.

However, even with that on site and did you look when I searched, instead of you searching inside your own portfolio?  Tiny Url =  https://tinyurl.com/rdvy9gd

Did you look at that?

Yes to the others who suggested every word in your title, should also be in your keywords, including IN  :)

Good Luck, I hope you figure that out.
