I found my best selling files on sale in another user account on Adobe Stock, I contacted Adobe but they won’t take the files down unless I’m submitting a DMCA compliance online form. That means I myself have to take the responsibility of making the report with all that implies, but isn’t the website responsible for checking that our work is not stolen by other users at least on the website itself?

Honestly some of the sites are pretty awful over this.
Adobe sadly is one of them.
IStock, ironically is very good on this (but terrible in almost every other way)
This isn't an industry where companies should be hiding behind the DMCA and doing very minimum to protect our work and their reputation.
Avoiding looking at portfolios to make decisions in an attempt to also avoid culpability (which is what this is really all about) doesn't work when your whole business model is licensing content from your site and working with creatives (who are the ones having their work stolen) as both suppliers and customers. Buyers need to to know their licenses mean something.

Having a way for artists to report image theft, without filling out a DMCA would be the first step.

And a way for third parties to flag duplicate content between portfolios. When you find a whole portfolio with content stolen from multiple contributors its insane that you as a third party can't get staff at an agency to take any action over it. It's infuriating.
