Title: submitting AI gen with people still broken
Post by: cascoly on August 08, 2023, 14:33
submitting - have checked both  ai gen AND 'people are fictional'

yet still get "potentially missing model release - deselect from submission" (altho it does accept them for 'review' aka 'to be rejected for quality after long wait')

mat said in a different thread that we could ignore the warning as long as we had clicked the right boxes.

most of what I declared as "photo" has been accepted, some were rejected for "quality", I will probably slightly edit then resubmit them as illustrations.

But the images that really look like photos even close up so far have gone through. Hasn't been many though, most are in the queue.

that is weird. I had another 4 ai photos accepted today.

maybe write to Mat with file numbers and let him look into this?

I always get the warning as well.

all my other ai images have been accepted

when i submitted those w warnings, they did go thru.  i suspect it's a bug in their forms

my guess is the warning comes if you click  ai & 'fictional people' first. the regular 'are there real people' goes away, so you can't choose the 'no' box and it likely doesnt get updated to 'no'. for non-ai this would prevent submit, so there's something weird going on

i've set up a test submitting in the 2 ways - when they get reviewed in Sep I'll see if this is confirmed
