Title: Submitting to Fotolia
Post by: visceralimage on February 17, 2011, 05:31
is there a faster way to input images to Fotolia.  i use lightburner but once they are in Fotolia, i must click each image, transfer the keywords, accept the terms, set category and submit image.  This is maddening; is there a batch submit or something.

No, at least I haven't found a way to make that faster...

Nope there's no way to make it any quicker and it's extremely annoying.  Hell it would save time if we didn't have to keep transferring keywords from one box to the other.

I was almost grateful when Fotolia cut our royalties.  Gave me the impetus to stop uploading there.  I was on four sites with painful one-at-a-time upload processes.  Deposit redid theirs recently, I'm slowly starting to delete stuff on Fotolia, and that just leaves Dreamstime.

i spent five hours yesterday clicking buttons; all the same * buttons.  Every image was wildlife, every image had acceptable keywords that just needed to be transferred, I accepted the rules and regulations for every image and i submitted every image.

I got a PhD to do this!  Actually, it does not matter what my education is; the system is stupid.

Those that are large enough to have a staff of office workers must feel really bad; paying an office worker to do a task such as this.  At least, I can sit in front of the stereo or something enjoying the music as I key in each individual image.

Well now it seems to not work at all. I uploaded 22 images, but it will not let me move the keywords from one box to the other. I'm not going to spend time to fight with it. At DT I use FTP to upload and then the new "populate" button to cut down on the copy/paste.

You don't have to choose category.

You should check out the picniche toolbar for firefox.. it actually saves quite a bit of time.

In addition to giving you notices when you makes sales (if you want), it also clicks those buttons that need to be clicked ON EVERY... SINGLE... IMAGE.... PAGE... and for example on fotolia, moves the keywords over to the correct side.
