for me as a user with a portfolio over 200.000 there are some workflow issue on the contributor site so here is my fix / wish list  ;)

"upload files / in review" if i make a mistake and i wanna delete my "in review" pictures i would like it in a batch and not 3 clicks to delete only one picture (same in the reminder section if i don't like to edit them)

"dashboard / file search #" i would like to search in my portfolio for keywords and not only by ID number, for example to find "Typing error"
better would be a personal "Typing error list" to fix all pictures or a batch modus for this.

it s always such a pain in the ass to edit pictures after the submit :/

I completely agree with milo22, especially about the ability to search my portfolio with keywords in the dashboard.

Personally I recently realised I did not always select the right language when I upload my photos. The default language in my upload panel for the item "I'm writing title & keywords in" is french but I wright title and keywords in english. Many times I forget to change it to english and I think it is no good for my photos to show up correctly in search results, especially for searches in french... Unfortunately this information can't be modified in the dashboard for the photos already published. I sent a request to the Adobe Stock support who answered me they would ask the IT team if they can do it but for the moment (after 1 month and three reminder emails) no change.

So my request is to be able to change the Language for the title and description in the dashboard for the published photos.

Short version of the general idea. There should be an easier way, for artists, to find and edit individual images.

I'm repeating an long standing request. Better ability to  look at sales, income, by image, lifetime. The whole only 13 months at a time, is kind of strange?

Something useful and nice, but not as important. Keyword help, what buyers are searching for, or how our images were found, would be over the top. Not an email saying, we need this, but a database saying, here's what actually is popular. Most of the what's popular are nothing but someone saying what they think is needed or predicting some trend. I'd like to see what is, not what might be. I don't think chasing the sales and history are the best ways to make decisions for new ideas and markets, but seeing overall sales, types, words, in general can be useful or at least give some advise on a possible creative direction?

for me as a user with a portfolio over 200.000 there are some workflow issue on the contributor site so here is my fix / wish list  ;)...

I am a small contributor, but there are many, many things about the contributor interface that need to be worked on - both workflow and stats.

Adobe has done next-to-nothing with the contributor interface (other than shutting down the Fotolia stats), and most of the things they have changed/added haven't been what contributors asked for. As but one example, contributors asked to be able to search their portfolio (on the contributor side) by keyword. Adobe implemented search by file number which is barely useful.

Until Adobe shows any interest in improving the contributor interface, giving them more lists seems a waste of our time. Possibly if you can get some other important contributors together you can gain some traction, but I don't think the problem is a lack of ideas about what to do.

Sales there are good and royalties are reasonable, so there's that :)

You can search your public profile (accessible via the contributor dashboard: contributor account -> see my public profile), get the file-id from there, and paste it in the search field in the contributor dashboard again. Hoover over title or keyword fields and the edit button appears. Not an efficient way to do it, but it's possible.

Agree on the editorial front. In fact the only reason I am still image exclusive with Getty is that Adobe does not offer the editorial option and as I am not interested one iota in SS I stay with the Getty/Family because I have a lot of editorial content.

You can use Wirestock as a gateway to the Editorial collection of Adobe Stock.

Not perfect, but it works, I sell editorial content on Adobe that way.
Not sure whether it's worth it for you, I don't know the conditions of exclusivity at Getty.

How do you do that, my editorial uploaded via Wirestock are rejected and never appear on AS.

Also not perfect because takes all kinds of -> see profile, copy file id number, go to contributor dashboard, paste, click and then edit button appears.

Can't really say much other than I submit the images to Wirestock and most of them get accepted by Adobe.

Two kind of editorials are not accepted:
- Illustrative Editorial (but Adobe allows me to upload them directly to my personal account, so they go there)
- Editorials with clearly recognizable people. Large groups of people in public spaces, or incidental crowd, without individuals being too close and thus clearly recognizable, should be fine though.

Rules seem to have changed too, because I did upload illustrative editorials in the past through Wirestock, and they were accepted back then. But not anymore.

Important to say is that I do my own keywording, and don't use the easy submission option. It's not the most efficient way, because you have to enter category, country, city and date manually. You don't want to bulk-upload your content that way! However, Wirestock claims that you can also use easy submission for editorials, on condition that you provide them necessary information in the reviewer notes field. So I assume you can also feed them your already keyworded content and use the easy submission option. The reviewer will probably take over your description and keywords, while completing the other fields for you. Didn't try it myself, but it should work. Maybe someone else can confirm.

Regarding portfolio search: yeah, it's far from perfect, and I rather call it a workaround instead of a functionality.
But it works in case you have an image that you want to edit or delete.

I'm well aware of that cumbersome workaround, but if you want to make a change, or add to a collection, all images with one or more keywords, a workflow that's more than inefficient. And if that were a good enough solution, then why bother with the search by keyword from the contributor side? Hence my description as barely useful - I didn't say it wasn't possible.

Eliminate the free collection please. This is self serving for Adobe with not one benefit to the artist.

Completely agree with Uncle Pete :-)

Also, please, is there anyone out there who could explain why on the earth agencies usually do not give contributors these important notices?
It would be simply great and useful for contributors to know which keywords clients are used to search, which filters they are using more to restrict selection of the right images or clips to buy, what combination of keywords are more used, and so on...

I cannot understand why agencies (not only Adobe of corse, but ALL agencies) retain these data as a secret.
Why? What are they afraid of? Someone has an answer?

Give the much-maligned Dreamstime credit, they do exactly that.

It's not fair to paint all agencies with the same negative brush.

They should send yearly withholding amount and earnings stats for tax purposes to every photographer automatically an the end of the year. Now we have to send email with request and wait for ages for this paper because their tax department can't handle so many requests at the end of the year.

That is not in their own interest. They just want you to produce what they are lacking in collection, not what will bring you sure sales. All "future trends" and "what buyers are looking for" emails from all the agencies are based on their selfish needs. I don't even read them anymore.
