Can someone please tell me what size Adobe now requires for artboards? Since the maintenance they will no longer accept any of my eps files because the artboard is too small, according to their site. I've quadrupled the artboard size and still no go. (I've been uploading files to Fotolia with these artboard sizes since 2009.)

I've been back and forth with their support people for a couple of weeks now and they will not answer this question for some reason. I'm tired of talking to them and getting nowhere.

I haven't uploaded in a month or so, so I don't know if it has changed. Most of mine are usually just letter size (8.5" x 11"). They do like larger jpeg files. I think between 15 MP and 40 MP.

Hmmm. Odd. My artboards are around the same size. My jpgs are accepted, so their file size is fine.

What size are you using?

I sometimes do square, 9" x 9", and sometimes 8.5" x 11". I've made some 18" x 18" and still getting the same error message, but only since the 3-week "maintenance" when uploads were suspended.

Shutterstock accepts them just fine.

Does it get rejected after review or not even go to review?

It gets rejected during the upload process...never even makes it into the review queue. I get the little red "x" next to the vector, but the jpgs go through.

Weird? I just uploaded one (EPS 8, letter sized artboard, and zipped together with the jpeg). It went to review like normal.

I do not think this is the issue, as I use much lower dimension and it still accepts.
Try with FTP. else contact the support and ask them.

The artboard size must be a minimum of 15MP when submitting a standalone vector.

If you prefer, you can still zip the vector file with a jpg that is 15MP instead of the large artboard and that will meet the upload requirements.

Thanks, but I still don't understand why files that have been accepted for nine years are now rejected, and everyone else seems to have no issues. In inches...is 8.5 x 11 not large enough?

So...I guess you're requiring either zipped folders or huge art boards if you use the drag and drop option. Is that correct?

The requirement is the same whether using FTP or drag and drop. The error message is more immediate when using drag and drop however.

I noticed that issue a while ago. Problem was solved by just uploading files in a zip.
Apparently it did not like anything that wasn't vertical. Only had issues with horizontal images. 

I've posted this before, but if you are on a Mac you can make a script:

You have to make a folder on your desktop called "zip folder", although can change the script if you want to call it something else. Throw all your jpegs and eps files you want to zip in there, run the script and it will spit out a combined zip file.

I make artboards whatever size I feel like at the time and have never had any issues.
Anywhere from 8.5" x 11" to 11" x 17" or anything in-between. In micro stock, size doesn't matter; they are vectors after all.
The main thing is to make sure your jpg's are a minimum of 5000 pixels wide on the longest side.
Vertical or horizontal does not matter.
Are you sure you don't have other issues, like open paths?
