Now that I've got a few sales on FT (just joined last week) I'm trying to understand some of the differences I'm seeing. For example, while I have XXL subscription sales at 0.25 credits, I also have a much smaller size M subscription sale at 0.80 credits. Is there someplace on FT that breaks down these various sale amounts or is this the difference between FT and Adobe sales? And I assume the conversion from credits to dollars is one-to-one (50 credits equal 50 dollars) ... correct?

Fotolia (like IS and SS) doesn't have different subscription rates based on image size. The royalty you receive is based on the price the buyers are paying per subscription credit. So your buyer of 27 cent photos has a large sub package (or better deal) than the buyer of the 80 cent sub sale. You'll see good variability as the rates are 33 percent if coming from Adobe and whatever your currently royalty rate is if sold through Fotolia. Some subs can be several dollars.
And yes, 50 credits = 50 dollars (or euros, depending on how you signed up)

I was reading through this site to understand better this Fotolia pricing too, but still... I do not get it clearly.... ::)
I started uploading illustrations (mostly vectors) two months ago, have several sales and the most common one is of 0,24 (subscription v) ... Isn't the minimum for the starting rank (white) 0,25?
And then I have several marked the same= 'subscription V' sales which varies 0.27, 0.32, 0.76, 0.99, 1.65....
'Subscriptions' L for 0.25,
'subscription M' for 0.95,
'subscription XL' for 0.24,
'S Standard' for 0.6 and 0.57 and
Vector Licence for 1.2.......
Whaaattt?
And in all this mess, I really don't understand if the customers with the subscription V download the eps file or the image?
Thank you :P :o

That's probably a buy quote. Latest figure I have is 1.0633 euro to one dollar.

If one dollar equals 0.92 Euro, than "dollar is NOT more than Euro" :P

Since we're talking about understanding fotolia sales, I had some weird sales today. I had 3 sales of the same file in a period of 2 minutes, first sale was 0.29 sub sale, second was 0.38 sub sale, and third was 0,63 sub sale. And those were the first three sales of that file.
Would anyone know, what was that all about?

I've had two sub sales of the same image straight after each other a few times but never a "hat trick"

Good point. iStock has one and they ignore the reports, for years. Do nothing. But we can report there to. Does FT do anything or just let us report and waste our time ignoring us.
