Title: Vector file size question
Post by: zsooofija on September 16, 2011, 12:58
Hi,

I noticed Fotolia changed the minimum JPG preview size for vectors to 15MP.

My problem is, this way my ZIP file can't fit into the 2MB limit.

I save the JPG at 300 dpi, 15MP = 3-4MB, and when I zip it with the EPS file =7-800KB the ZIP file size exceeds the 2MB limit. What should I do to reduce the ZIP file size?

I appreciate any advice.

Thanks!

The zip file isn't what needs to be a 2mb minimum it's the eps file that can't exceed 2mb.  Your zip files should be fine as long as the eps is under 2mb.

Awesome!  Just watch out sometime Fotolia's FTP has a hiccup and you end up getting doubles in your unfinished files.  Didn't notice one time it happened to me a few months ago and ended up getting doubles approved.  Had to go back in and delete the extras.
