Hi guys,

I'm curious at your all time ranking on Fotolia.

I'm 2091 and just passed 100$, so nothing to brag about:)

Cheers,!

Rank 1332, 7 days goes up and down. Sold 372 images in 10 months.

Not my favourite site, and will be passed by StockXpert soon I think.

Similar stats to epixx.

Note that ranking is on $, not DL so those with high EL sales (of XL sales etc) will rank better than those with the same number of sales but at a small size.

All time:  1447
7 days:  1920 (I guess it's been a bad week...)
Total Sold:  347

Fotolia hadn't been doing that great for me until recently.  I think they have better penetration in Europe than some others.

616 all time, 2289 this week, and dropping rapidly after 1.5 years.  It didn't bode well for me when they changed their pricing structure early last year to make XL size photos start at 7.1 MP two weeks after I purchased my 6.1 MP D70s.  If I had any inkling they would do that, I would have bought the Canon equivalent, and probably would have a much higher ranking and more overall sales.  As it is, they are now ranked #7 in sales (123RF recently surpassed them) and Canstock is actually nipping at their heels.

Karimala, do you sell many of the 6.1mp files at FT anyway?  In my experience more than half of my sales there are for the smallest size available.  Or is it just me?  I could never figure out why.  At the other agencies a much higher percentage grab the largest available size.   Maybe they market more to web than print?

I started uploading to FT in early January of this year. FT has always been my lowest earner (currently at $120+/month).

I have two accounts at Fotolia (like all the sites except IS who won't allow it)

phildate: Rank 5
eastwest.imaging: Rank 103

Would like to know what I would be overall with both accounts combined but will probably never know. Maybe 4, maybe 3 but not 1 or 2 I doubt.

It's probably been asked before, but I'll ask anyway: Why do you have two accounts?

Well judging by the names of his accounts. One is likely personal, and one is for his business.

Kngkyle - you are spot on. One is my personal portfolio and another is the portfolio belonging to a company I set-up with one business partner. I am still the only photographer who has submitted to the company portfolio but that might change soon.

Did you refer your company's account? That would be quite some referral income I guess.

Do you mind sharing how many sales N 5 has?

Cheers

No I didn't refer the company portfolio and had to write and ask permission of all the sites for them to allow this. It's not something that you can do without permission I feel.

10000< Rank 5 < 20000  ;D

Looking at the photo sold vs ranking ... fotolia's ranking is base on income and not by download

LOL .. I have been constantly sliding down in Fotolia .. just too many good photographers around :)

About 1/4 - 1/3 of my sales are the large size.
