This morning I uploaded five images to FT at 05.00am Australia time.  I sorted the keywords etc and submitted for approval.

It is now 05.52am and I have received acceptance notices for four of those images.  In fact, the first three images were accepted ten minutes after I pressed the submit button.

You all know that I am suspicious of FT; this just makes me even more suspicious.  How can they have examined my images and approved them so quickly?

Doesn't sound right to me.......

Well all five got accepted.  So I decided to upload another four.  These have been accepted within half an hour.

I suppose it's nice to get acceptances so quickly, and with any other agency I'd be pleased.  But as it's FT I'm simply suspicious and this speed of acceptance actually discourages me; I don't believe they have actually been 'reviewed' at all.

You're complaining that they have got on top of their queue and are reviewing quickly?

Ummmm,  What's the issue again?

As long as they are not just blanket approving images of low quality (Not suggesting yours were!) this is a good thing isn't it?

I find that the approval times are quite variable for me on FT, sometimes a day or two, sometimes within half an hour...  I've got a big timezone difference as well, so I've never thought too much about it.

FT might appear to mis-reperasent their stats a bit, but I don't think there's anything more sinister than marketing hype behind that...

This happens not at all infrequently to me - when I notice that it's happening I jump right on it and finish off as many images as I can. I usually have 50+ images uploaded and ready to be categorized at any given time.

I always keep my email app open, and wait a few minutes after categorizing three or four images - if they are reviewed quicky and rejected I stop categorizing until a more favorable reviewer logs on.

FYI, Just did an image before I posted my first reply, and it's been approved, 20 minutes turn around.  It was a strong stock image by my standards, so dosn't prove anything.

Sharply:  I hadn't thought about doing that, but then my batches are normally 5 images max, so wouldn't be as much benefit.  I suggest you submit some more right now! :-)

Okay, thanks for the reassurance guys; my experience at FT has always been a wait of a coupla days, so this super fast approval was a new thing for me.

One of the things I do with both FT and DT is to upload a bunch of stuff and forget about it for a few days, when they'll be close to or at the front of the queue. If DT is taking too long, I'll finish off one or two images as markers so that I'll know when it's time for me to get busy there.

Thanks for the heads up, chellyar!

I started with fotolia italy and approval times were near to 1 week, but from when I've passed to fotolia us approval times are very fast, from a couple of hours to  5 minutes or less.
Yesterday I've send some photos to dreamstime, they said there was an approval time of 4 days, but after few minutes i received mails for approved\non approved images
