Several customers are reporting that after migrating their customer account from Fotolia to Adobe Stock, they can now download all Fotolia credit-licensed images in full resolution. No matter what license they had purchased xs, s, m, ... every licensed work is available in full resolution!

No idea how long it's been like this ...

I can't remember that I gave Adobe permission to give customers a license extension for free ...

Can you check it out at your place or with your customer accounts?

Does anyone have an explanation?

I could be wrong but it's possibly due to AS not giving the option of small, medium and large images etc. You pay the amount and you get the full size image. If they were to apply the same restrictions as FT (from previous sales) in terms of sizing, they'd have introduce those conditions at AS.... which, is unlikely to happen.

That said, if they started doing that, we might see the return of better value sales that we used to see at FT.

It is clear that this is the case with Adobe Stock purchases - but this does not apply to all previous Fotolia purchases. Back then, customers only paid the price for the specific size of the image (and are allowed to use the image within the license agreement - but who cares?). If they get the picture in full size now, that's the door opener for non-licensed use for me - triggered by Adobe!

Yeah, I don't think you're going to get far with this one.  Besides, I doubt there's anything in the license related to size.
